About Us

Founded in 1974 in collaboration with SCIAKY, we are the largest manufacturers of Resistance Welding Machines and controls in India and have supplied over 12,000 Welding Machines to various segments of Industry. Our equipments & products are being used by Leyland, Mercedes Benz, General Motors, Honda, Suzuki, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Daewoo, Yamaha, Ford, Kawasaki, Bajaj, Tata Motors, Escorts & Kinetic for their Automobile Plants in India.

3D Solid Modelling and AutoCAD Work Stations are used in Design, Development and Application Engineering. We use Modular Design techniques and have Large Design base, benefitting various industrial segments, using Customized Designs and providing Automated solutions for higher productivity.

Auto Components Division was established in 1989 for manufacturing Variometric Drive Unit(CVT) for Honda Scooter - Japan, subsequently several models of CVT have been developed for 73cc & 100cc scooters. Recently we have added Motor Cycle Front Shock absorbers also in the product range of this division.

Auto Electronics Division was established in 1993 for manufacturing AC Generators, Magnatoes, Capacitor Discharge Units(CDI), Regulator Rectifier & Flashers for application in Mopeds, Scooters & Motor Cycles.


Tool Room - Introduction

Our tool room was established in 1980, solely for THE in-house REQUIRMENTS. Today, it’s a state- of- the- art tool room with the addition of new machines, software and technology. What began as a captive tool room was successfully commercialized in 2005 and Kinetic Technologies A SEPARATE SBU was born.

Kinetic Technologies is a one-stop solution for all your CAD, CAM, CAE and tool room needs. We provide art to part services, design and simulation of tools, pre-production tooling and production of tools like dies, moulds, fixtures and much more TO MEET YOUR REQUIRMENTS.


Tool Room Division - Capabilities

  • Customer Needs: Once we understand the customer needs, our team of highly skilled designers draws the conceptual sketches. These sketches are then rendered in greater detail. The concept then takes the shape of a clay model and a prototype is made. We manufacture a few prototype components through silicon moulds FOR WHICH WE HAVE A GERMAN RPT MACHINE.
  • Reverse Engineering & Product Design: In the Reverse Engineering stage, we use the high precision CMM from Zeiss, Germany. With this CMM, we are equipped to digitize, measure and compare the data or the surface. The point-cloud data received through the digitization is converted to an A-class surface. A fuel tank, for instance, is an aesthetically important component for a motorcycle. We made a sample component of a fuel tank using clay model and epoxy RESIN. This was digitized and converted into a surface. THEN IT was compared to the originally designed model. In this fashion, the final product surface is developed which is used as an input for the tool design stage.
  • Tool Design:

    We have the capability to design and manufacture die casting dies, plastic moulds, rubber moulds, sheet metal tooling, jig fixtures, gauges etc.

    In tool design we use software like Ideas, Autoform, Alias, UG, CATIA etc. We use Autoform software for sheet metal formability simulation. For instance, a crack predicted by this software in a petrol tank during simulation was also found during the trial. Its high success rate ensures reduction in try OUT time.

    Kinetic Technologies ALSO offers plastic part simulations through mold flow. Different types of simulations like deflection analysis, temperature difference plots, meshing, air trap locations etc. are carried out. After successful simulation, two halves of tool is modeled. This becomes an input for the tool manufacturing stage.
  • Tool Manufacturing: In tool manufacturing stage we use Work NC and the German software Tebis that give the tools the path to follow on steel. The THIS rigid double column CNC machine accommodates almost all components of the four-wheelers. With an array of 9 CNC machines, we can cater to a wide range of customer needs. We have two wirecut machines and two EDMs. Our facility is equipped with two precision jig-boring machines. We are also capable of (in-house) pattern development INHOUSE. Our inspection facilities consist of machines like CMM, optical profile projector and other precision measuring instruments.

Services Rendered

With all these facilities under one roof, we are capable of manufacturing almost all types of tools. Such as TOOLS FOR mudguard / FENDER, skin panels, fuel tanks. At Kinetic Technologies we have manufactured: Motorcycles fuel tank dies, Dies for utility vehicles, Panel roof bow, Inner and Outer side panel for three wheelers, WELDING FIXTURE SETUP FOR LOAD body. Our customized tooling solutions means we can make dies which range from 300 mm to 3000mm ACCORDING TO the customer’s need.

In the area of Mould manufacturing, we have made: Cluster Trim Component, ECM Retainer, Trim plate, Visor Receptacle, visor cover, Speedometer, Side Cover, Tail cover, Front and rear capping mold, Lift gate mold, Visor mold, Head light mold, Harness cover mold, Fairing cover mold and front mud-guard mold.

AS FAR AS PDC IS CONCERNED We have made (Die casting) dies for: Foot rests, grab rails, HYDRAULIC DOOR CLOSER BODY, Starter motor housings, Front covers and Rear housings of alternators and crankcases. The crankcases differ in there sizes, compositions and range from 50cc to 250cc.
