 Level Measuring Instruments
Our vast range of level measuring instruments is used in various industries for different applications. These level measuring instruments, level switches, RF admittance point level switches, vibrating fork point level switches, rotating paddle level switches etc., are made of high graded raw material with the use of cutting edge technology. We lay strong emphasis on the quality standards during our production process. The huge gamut of level measuring instruments includes the following:

RF Admittance Point Level Switches
RF Admittance Point Level Switches

Our RF level switch is widely applied in various products such as Building industry materials, cement, sand, lime, milk powder, flour, salt, food grains, powder, granular, chemical and mining etc. These comprise of a specially designed electronics and sensing probe using Driven Shield Coat Guard circuit and corresponding 3-Element Probe.

The electro-mechanical combination of the Coat Guard technique is there makes the system immune to the material build-up on the probe and material bridging between the probe and the hopper wall. The measured signal does not flow to the hopper wall through the probe in the backward direction but flows only through the material.

The salient features of this level measuring instrument are as follow:

  • Three Element Coat Guard Technology
  • Can be configured either for High or Low Level point switching
  • Reduces the Inventory cost
  • Ignores material build-up on the probe
  • Suitable for the highly dusty environment
  • High Reliability
  • Fast and Easy Installation Simple Calibration
  • Field selectable operation logic
  • Provides economical solutions
  • Various models not required

The specifications of these point level switch are as follow:

The Principle of Working:

The major shortcoming of the conventional method is that after the level has once increased and then decreased, there may be a coating left on the probe sensed by the instrument as though the level is still on the probe. In our switch, a coat guard amplifier is incorporated in the circuit having its output exactly at the same voltage and phase at all times as its input.

The output is connected through the shield of the low capacitance co-axial cable to the concentric tube on the sense probe, called shield element. There is no current flow through the cable as both the elements, sense and shield are exactly at the same potential and phase at all times.

This results in no change in calibration due to coating on the probe and the temperature effect of the cable. This makes it possible to increase or shorten the cable connecting the switching unit without changing the original calibration.

Rotating Paddle Level Switches

These paddle level switches have a small electric motor to drive them paddle rotating freely in the absence of material. Obstructed by material the motor will be turned within the housing while loading a spring and triggering two switches. One is a dry electric contact for control and alarm functions while the other cuts the power to the motor., the loaded stretched tension spring returns the motor to its original position.

When the material level drops resulting in the reactivation of the unit. These paddles are ideal for level detection of dust granules and other free flowing solids up to the particle size of Ø10 mm. It is mounted in bins, silos and hoppers so that it can be applied for control of level, filling and emptying as well as for protection against overfilling.

The salient features are as follow:

  • Level switch for powders and free flowing solids
  • Flexible coupling (optional as per application)
  • Extension up to 1 m
  • Robust, dust and watertight housing
  • Extended life by motor shut off design
  • Sealed bearings
  • Interchangeable paddle assemblies, magnetic clutch mechanism

Our paddles find their applications in the following fields:

  • Agriculture: Beet slice, hard crop, Chemical industry: plastic powders, granules, pellets
  • Food industry: sun flower, sun flower cod, Building industry: sand, calcium powder, gypsum, coffee and cacao powder, flour, sugar, etc.
  • Energetic: active soot, coal powder, fly ash

Vibrating Fork - 'AQUAFORK' 7000 Series

FUNCTION:

The electronically stimulated fork vibrates at its  mechanically resonance frequency of 400 Hz when the fork is free of the service material. The resonance is caused by the piezoelectric crystals. One of the piezo crystals produces a small voltage which is transmitted to the switching amplifier. If the fork is covered by the bulk material, a damping effect is produced and the piezo crystal does not produce the voltage and the amplifier will switch and a corresponding signal output is actuated. The vibration of the fork has self-cleaning properties. The light deposit on the container wall does not affect the operation of the AQUAFORK
