Aluminium sulfate, is a widely used industrial chemical. It is sometimes incorrectly referred to as alum, as it is closely related to this group of compounds. It occurs naturally as a rare mineral millosevichite, found i.e. in volcanic environments and on burning coal-mining waste dumps

Aluminum Sulphate

Aluminum sulphate a non ferric alum is in the form of white lumps or powder which is soluble in water. It is non combustible and non toxic. It is used for sizing paper, mordant for dyeing, pH control in paper industry, petroleum refinery process, sewage treatment and food additive.
