Sodium nitrate is the chemical compound with the formula NaNO3. This salt, also known as "Chile saltpeter" (to distinguish it from ordinary saltpeter, potassium nitrate), is a white solid which is readily soluble in water. Sodium nitrate is used as an ingredient in fertilizers, explosives, and in solid rocket propellants, as well as in glass and pottery enamels; the compound has been mined extensively for those purposes.
Applications:
Sodium nitrate is used extensively as a fertilizer and a raw material for the manufacture of gunpowder in the late nineteenth century.
Sodium nitrate has antimicrobial properties which when used as a food preservative. It is found naturally in leafy green vegetables.
Sodium nitrate should not be confused with the related compound, sodium nitrite. The presence of sodium nitrite in food is controversial due to the development of nitrosamines when the food, primarily bacon, is cooked at high temperatures. The nitrate compound itself is not harmful, however, and is among the antioxidants found in fresh vegetables.
Its usage is carefully regulated in the production of cured products; in the United States, the concentration in finished products is limited to 200 ppm, and is usually lower.
It can be used in the production of nitric acid by combining it with sulfuric acid and subsequent separation through fractional distillation of nitric acid, leaving behind a residue of sodium bi-sulphate.
Less common applications include its use as a substitute oxidizer used in fireworks as a replacement for potassium nitrate commonly found in black powder and as a component in instant cold packs.
Because sodium nitrate can be used as a Phase Change Material it may be used for heat transfer in solar power plants

Starch is a carbohydrate which occurs in all vegetable matters and is found in commercially recoverable quantities in Maize, Tapioca, Potato, Wheat, and Rice.
MAIZE STARCH:
Is a white creamy powder having various direct and indirect applications in industries. Starch can be modified to suit individual requirements of the users and such are known as chemical starches/Dextrin. The maize starch finds application in different industries such as a binder, stabilizers, yarn sizing, thickening and suspending agent, viz. textile, paints, detergent, paper, ceramics, pharmaceuticals etc. besides such direct industrial application of starch, it is also converted into a range of starch derivatives, viz. Liquid Glucose, Dextrose Mono hydrate, Dextrose Anhydrous, Maltodextrin, Sorbitol etc., all of which find application in the food processing and pharmaceuticals industries
Native Starch:
Our grades of Native Starch are processed and recovered from selected hybrid corn varieties available in plenty in the proximity of our plant locations. We choose the right corn variety and quality to ensure our finished products namely Native Starch with low ash content and high brightness desirable for applications by quality conscious users in the food, pharmacy, paper industries, etc.
Modified Starch:
We have a range of Modified Starches, either they are chemically modified and or physically modified. In the range of chemically modified starches we have various grades of Thin Boiling Starches, Esterified Starches, Cationic Starches, etc, finding their specific applications in the textile and paper industries. We make virtually tailor made products to meet customer specific requirements in these areas of applications.

Liquid Glucose & High Maltose Corn Syrup
Liquid Glucose is a mixture of Glucose, Maltose, Maltodextrin & Oligosaccharides. It is a colorless, odorless, viscous sweet syrup, mainly used in confectionery and pharmaceuticals industry as a sweetener and bonding agent. It is a combination of mono, di, tri, penta and higher sacharides.
High Maltose Corn Syrup is a specially prepared acid-enzyme converted corn syrup which contains maltose as its major carbohydrate constituent. This high maltose syrup improves flavor, body, and texture at high sucrose replacement levels while imparting resistance to color formation, moisture absorption, and crystallization in finished products such as hard candies. It produces finished products which have exceptional stability, clarity, and brilliance.
