History
1898 : Founding of an electric machine factory
1906 : ACENE (Atelier de Construction Electrique du Nord et de l?Est) by external growth
1921 : FACEJ (Forges et Ateliers de Construction Electriques de Jeumont) (EMPAIN group)
1964 : Jeumont Schneider founded as a result of a merger with Schnieder Westinghouse
1976 : French program of nuclear power plant construction launched : the manufacture of the RCP motors and CRDMs for pressurized water reactors is assigned to Jeumont (under Westinghouse licence)
1993 : Jeumont Industrie created within the Framatome group; wind turbine business launched
2007 : Creation of JEUMONT Electric within the Altawest group, specialized in the energy and environment sector.
2008 : New design for the range of induction machines and semi-rapid and slow generators
2009 : Creation of a new production workshop for 355 to 450 mm axis height induction machines in Champagne sur Seine
2010 : Opening of a sales office in Abu Dhabi.
