Somewhere around in 1959, a visionary man - Mr. Nathubhai Dayaljibhai Desai, having worked with pharmaceutical company called ?Alarsin? saw the dream to be an entrepreneur and help bring some transformation in lives of farmer brothers and also make some positive difference to dumb Animals.
To translate this dream into reality Herbo Minerals was founded by Nathubhai in around 1959. He started job work for Alarsin at amalsad which was his own earned premises having shared good relations with his employers.
In the initial stage, Herbo Minerals opted for and got license for Ayurvedic drug manufacturing and started producing Leptadin as well as various others human medicines. They also supplied raw material of various human medicines to Alarsin. Since 1959 to 1988 this association lasted successfully, but due to cancellation of agreement deed between? herbo minerals? & Alarsin? Mr. Nathubhai diverted into manufacturing of Ayurvedic veterinary medicine. He got the drug license in 1988 & his new company?s name was ?JIVANTI PHARMACEUTICALS? which mainly had two products.
