Torsion Springs

Torsion springs are made from round and also from square and profile material. Industrial Torsion Springs are used in pedal mechanisms and carburetors in the automotive area and also windows and roller doors for the building and furniture industries. Special springs are produced for throttle body adjustment in engines from multi-wire and stranded wire with welded ends.

Spiral Torsion Springs are generally made of rectangular section material, flat strip, with round edges or normal slit edges with equal or increasing space between coils. These are wound flat to achieve torque.

 

Application of Spiral Springs :

These are general used as Brush Springs in D.C. motors, anti-backslash springs, Alternators, Drill presses, Vertical mill, Counter balance springs etc.
