Jos Electricals, the flagship company of the well known ¿¿¿JOS GROUP¿¿¿ founded by Late Sri. M G Joseph in the year 1947 in Mattancherry, Kochi, has been making gigantic strides in the supply and sales of Electrical goods in the business scenario of Kerala.Established in 1970, Jos Electricals was the first showroom in Kerala for Electrical Fancy Fittings, House Wiring and Home Appliances. Following the death of Sri M G Joseph in 1981, his children, managed the group of concerns. At the end of 2000, the brothers restructured their business and as a result, the business of Electrical Sales Corporation and Jos Exports & Import agencies became the family business of the youngest brother, Mr M J Francis. At present the firm has two showrooms on M G road including a fully air conditioned showroom having an area of 5400 sq ft., exclusively for fancy light fittings - Imported & indigenous which is the largest showroom of its type in the South India. Now the firm has six divisions House wiring & Home Appliances, Electrical Fancy light Fittings, Industrial items, High tension items, Extra High tension items and Electrical Contract work division The other showroom named as Jos Exports & Imports agencies where only Imported costly fancy electrical light fittings are displayed The firm has six store houses in the city of Kochi having a total area of over 25,000 sq ft.
