Chain Link Mesh

Chain Link Mesh

A chain-link fence or wire netting or chain-wire fence is a type of woven fence usually made from galvanizedsteel wire. The wires run vertically and are bent into a zig-zag pattern so that each "zig" hooks with the wire immediately on one side and each "zag" with the wire immediately on the other. This forms the characteristic diamond pattern seen in this type of fence.

chain link fencing fencing usually comes in 50 ft rolls which can be joined by "unscrewing" one of the end wires and then "screwing" it back in so that it hooks both pieces. Common heights include 3 ft, 3 ft 6 in, 4 ft, 5 ft, 6 ft, 7 ft, 8 ft, 10 ft, and 12 ft, though almost any height is possible. Chain link mesh openings can be manufactured from apertures ranging from 18mm to 100 mm. The wire diameter ranges from 1. 6mm to 4. 0mm. The popularity of chain-link fence is due to its relatively low cost and ease of installation. A further advantage is that due to the open weave, chain-link fences are transparent, and do not obscure sunlight from either side of the fence. If a semi-opaque fence is desired, this can be achieved by the insertion of slats into the mesh. Installation the installation of chain-link fence involves setting posts into the ground and attaching the fence to them. The posts may comprise steel tubing, timber or concrete and may be driven into the ground or set in concrete. End posts, or terminal posts, must either be set in concrete or anchored to prevent leaning under the tension of a stretched fence. After the end posts are set, line posts are driven in equally spaced at intervals of 2. 5-3. 0m. The fence is then attached at one end, stretched, and attached at the other; the excess being easily removed by unscrewing a wire. Finally it is tied to the line posts with aluminum wire. Chain-link fences are also called cyclone or hurricane fences.

JPR WMF is available in rectangular or square mesh in roll from accroding to the specifications mentioned.

Soft annealed wire is mostly used in woven wire mesh or as wire tie. Iron wire can be processed into cut wire or U type wire for binding uses. JPR has binding wire which is 0.9mm thick and is annealed, for soft and ease of usage. Punched Tape Concertina Coil is fabricated from high tensile wire onto which a multitude of razor sharp barbs are formed at close intervals. Most barbed wire fences, while sufficient to discourage cattle, are passable by humans who can simply climb over the fence, or through the fence by stretching the gaps between the wires using non-barbed sections of the wire as hand holds. To prevent humans crossing, many prisons and other high-security installations construct fences with razor wire, a variant which instead of occasional barbs features near-continuous cutting surfaces sufficient to injure unprotected persons who climb on it. A commonly seen alternative is the placement of a few strands of barbed wire at the top of a chain link fence. The limited mobility of someone climbing a fence makes passing conventional barbed wire more difficult. On some chain link fences these strands are attached to a bracket tilted 45 degrees towards the intruder, increasing the difficulty.

Broiler Breeder Cage

JPR offers cages for grower and layer for broiler breeder birds. The birds are housed from the 8th week till the birds achieve the age of 20 weeks in the grower cages. After the 20th week, the birds are transferred to the laying cages, and remain till the culling of the birds is carried out. Since different types of cages are available to suit the different age group/size of the birds, the stress on the birds is greatly reduced leading to higher production.
It is to be noted here that the birds are housed only in two tier cages, as it is convenient to carry out the artificial insemination. The lower tier of the cages is avoided, as it is very difficult to carry out AI at such low levels.
The male birds are located in a different type of cage, which is located amongst the female birds. The positioning of the male birds is also designed in a way to reduce the distance from the female birds. This is done to avoid delay in inseminating the female birds. Usually, there are 10 male birds for every 100 female birds. However, the ratio can be changed to suit the requirements of the farm.
