The oil filled
power transformers supplied by us are manufactured at our Thirumazhisai Plant set up. Available on HV windings or LV windings, these oil filled power transformers bear assemblies that are made from premium quality insulating material and bear a voltage level up to 200MVA/230KV. Our team of quality controllers carries our stringent quality test before delivering to the market.
Following are the highlighting features of these transformers:
- Tapping are provided on the HV windings or LV windings
- Windings controlled by an off circuit switch or an on load top changer
- Cooling takes place by means of tank mounted radiators
- The radiators can either be welded in position for smaller ratings and of detachable type for medium rating
- Large oil filled units can be fitted with separate cooler tanks, together with fans and/or oil pumps to increase the ratings of the transformer.
- Insulating material are vacuum dried prior to tanking and final testing
- Arrangements are made for filling the transformer tank with either dry air or inert gas under a slight pressure, if weight considerations do not permit units to be dispatched with oil
- To facilitate inspection of the gas pressure on arrival at site gauges are provided.
