We-Jupiter Knitting Company are one of the renowned manufacturers and exporters of quality garments for Gents, Ladies, Kids and Infant.

With an experience of 50 years in the knitting industry, we have been able to successfully establish our name in the local as well as global market. Our infrastructure, human skills and vertically integrated facilities with quality control processes have made us gain an edge over our competitors.

Our current annual production capacity is around 20 million pieces which is bound to increase every year. Our infrastructure, human resources and our management policies are the main reasons for an upward growth of our company.
Profile

Production Processes

Knitting: We have 10 circular knitting machines of M/S. Mayer & Cie, Germany make. The range is available in various diameters with lycra attachment facility.

Compacting: Compacting process is taken care by compacting machine of M/s. Ferraro, Italy, controls the shrinkage of fabric within the optimum limits.

Printing: Our printing department is equipped with MHM chest printing machines that can print 10 colors at a time.

Garmenting: Facilitates cutting, sewing, stitching & checking of garments. All this is carried out in separate departments to ensure better quality garments.

Embroidery: Our Embroidery division is equipped with 4 computerized Tajima, 20-heads embroidery machines with sequence attaching facility.

Accessories: We have inhouse facility to make elastics, poly bags, PVC bags, hangers, printed labels, stickers, bar codes, transfer stickers etc. with latest imported machines. Products are nominated by leading retailers.

Knitting, printing, embroidering and fabric finishing are some of the processes that have been brought in-house. The company also has its own manufacturing facility for garment trims like elastics, labels,stickers ,polybags, polypouches and hangers.

Jupiter has the distinction of having achieved nomination for its label and polybag making unit from some of the leading stores in Europe.

About the Owner

The company was established by Mr. Subramaniam when he was about 17. As he learnt the nitty gritties of business, the importance of the human element in the organization dwelled upon him. He was less and less enamored by numbers and financial figures. His focus was beyond that. He realized it was much more important to keep people happy. What, according to him, was the purpose of achieving targets, meeting deadlines etc., etc., if that was achieved at the cost of friends, family and life. What was the purpose of success if that required us to forget being human beings or if that made us incapable of enjoying the simple joys of life .He believed it was a happy and content team that was the true measure of success. He also believed that if the workplace was conducive to nurturing that happiness, sustained growth would be achieved. His organization had to be human. He insisted that everyone understand and appreciate individual limitations, treat one another with respect, put problems in the right perspective and treat them as collective responsibility. He believed these to be little steps to making work enjoyable and thereby ensuring happiness.
