JV Corporation is into Trading/Supplying /Wholesale and Manufacturing of Bio-Plastic Granules/Cutlery/Bags in India with base at Indore/Pithampur Industrial Area.
JV Corporation started with trading and then manufacturing of Gemstone, Imitation Jewellery and later moved on to manufacture first of its on Kind Terracotta Jewellery in Heart of India ( M.P).
JV Corporation is the only organisation which encouraged Handcrafting and trained its own artisans to manufacture Terracotta Jewellery.
The organisation also started its own division into manufacturing of its own Clothing Line for Women in the name of "Selfie".
Now since 2014, the company has been working on its First Kind of Manufacturing Unit in India for Bio- Plastic.
The company eventually started Trading /Supplying and now Manufacturing PLA Granules, Bio Plastic Cutlery/Bags for its various Clients across the Global.
Bioplastics are plastics derived from renewable biomass sources, such as vegetable fats and oils, corn starch, or micro biota. Bio plastic can be made from agricultural by-products and also from used plastic bottles and other containers using microorganisms. Common plastics, such as fossil-fuel plastics (also called petro-based polymers), are derived from petroleum or natural gas. Production of such plastics tends to require more fossil fuels and to produce more greenhouse gases than the production of bio-based polymers (bioplastics). Some, but not all, bio plastics are designed to biodegrade. Biodegradable bioplastics can break down in either anaerobic or aerobic environments, depending on how they are manufactured. Bio-plastics can be composed of starches, cellulose, biopolymers, and a variety of other materials.
The Organisation is Supplying Two types of Bio-Plastics
1. Starch Based Plastics: Starch-based bio plastics are often blended with biodegradable polyesters to produce starch / polycaprolactone or starch/Ecoflex (polybutylene adipate-co-terephthalate produced by BASF) blends. These blends are used for industrial applications and are also compostable.
2. Aliphatic Polysters : - Polylactic acid or polylactide (PLA, Poly) is a biodegradable thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch,tapioca roots, chips or starch or sugarcane . In 2010, PLA had the second highest consumption volume of any bioplastic of the world
Application of PLA:
PLA can be processed by extrusion, injection moulding, film and sheet casting, 3d printing, and spinning, providing access to a wide range of materials.
Being able to degrade into innocuous lactic acid, PLA is used as medical implants in the form of anchors, screws, plates, pins, rods, and as a mesh.
PLA can also be used as a decomposable packaging material, either cast, injection-moulded, or spun. Cups and bags have been made from this material. In the form of a film, it shrinks upon heating, allowing it to be used in shrink tunnels. It is useful for producing loose-fill packaging, compost bags, food packaging, and disposable tableware. In the form of fibres and non-woven textiles, PLA also has many potential uses, for example as upholstery, disposable garments, awnings, feminine hygiene products, and diapers.
