Breaker status indication. Trivector meter to record energy and Load parameters. Ammeter and voltmeter with selector switch Separate cabinets for control unit and meter unit, which are mechanically fastened together Cabinet suitable for different types of pole mounting.
Application: Electrical Power for rural areas is supplied by 1 IkV overhead lines. They are exposed to several faults like, lightning, heavy wind, fall of tree branches, fault created by animals / birds etc. When a fault occurs, the protection system trips the circuit breaker to prevent / minimize the damage. It is expected to locate the fault, clear and then restore the supply by reclosing the circuit breaker. It takes more time between power outage and restoration. More than 70% of the faults are observed to be temporary / transient in nature. Hence, power outage time can be reduced if the reclosing function is automated and carefully planned.
Principle Of Operation: A circuit breaker whose tripping and reclosing functions are programmed and controlled automatically by an intelligent control unit is called as 'AUTO RECLOSER'. Auto Recloser can interrupt fault currents, and also programmed to reclose to restore the supply. The supply gets restored if the fault is of transient in nature. If the fault is of permanent type, the Auto Recloser tries to reclose the supply in two or three attempts (as set in the program) and finally goes to 'lock out' status, after which manual intervention is essential. The control unit is facilitated with manual control switches for circuit breaker trip and close operations. The circuit breaker status are indicated through indicating lamps. The operation of the circuit breaker is monitored by control unit after extending the trip / re-closing. The lockout contact will operate if breaker is mal-operated. The control unit has inbuilt trip counter which counts number of trips after installation. The count can be reset. The fault zone indicator is very useful only when several sectionalisers are used along the feeder. The zone numbers are based on time interval of closing the sectionahser from the time of closing of auto recloser. The zone number will be displayed on the display. Zone number gives very useful information to locate the faulty section of the feeder quickly. Inbuilt power pack will generate sufficient DC power supply required to operate circiot breaker.
The lockout contact will operate on following conditions. 1)On permanent fault. 2)Breaker mal-operation 3)Very low voltage. 4)Trip when unit is manual mode | | | Send Enquiry |

 | | Auto Reclose Relay (JRV144)Item Code: JRV144 We offers Auto Reclose Relay (JRV144).
Feature
- Software based design
- Built- in Auto / Manual selection facility
- No. of shots selectable
- High accuracy and stability
Application The auto reclose function is normally used in feeder protection relays that are protecting an overhead line. Most of the overhead line faults are temporary in nature. Even 85% can be cleared by using the auto reclose function.
Principle of Application
The relay receives the fault initiation from the protection relay and that triggers the auto reclose function. After tripping the circuit breaker (CB), the Auto reclose function can reclose the CB. Normally , the first reclose (or shot) is so short in time that consumer cannot notice anything . However the fault is cleared and the feeder will continue in normal service. Even though the basic principle of Auto reclose is simple, there are a lot of different timers and parameters that have to be set.

 | | Auxiliary Relay (JRV131JRV151)Item Code: JRV131JRV151 We are engaged in offering Auxiliary Relay (JRV131JRV151).
Feature
- Electromechanical design
- Plug-in construction
- Standardised contact arrangement
- Self or hand reset contacts
- Protective transparent cover for the element
- Compact panel mounting case
Application
switching functions in protection and control circuits contact multiplication.
DESCRIPTION The auxiliary relays are electromechanical, attracted armature type, used in control and alarm circuits. There relays are designed as plug-in elements with the plug-in base having 16 terminals per element. Each element is enclosed in a dust proof moulded, transparent, polycarbonate cover. There is no hard wiring between the relay element and the rear terminals on the base. This results in a compact rugged and reliable design. Radio metal is used for the magnetic components such as the armature, the core and the yoke of the auxiliary relay to ensure good electrical performance. The contacts are made from phosphor bronze and are nickel plated. The contact tips are of pure silver. The use of these materials ensures very good contact performance.
Auxiliary relays are available in the following versions
| Contact and flag arrangement | No. of elements/ relay type | | | 1 | 2 | 3 | | S/R contact and S/R or H/R or no flag or reverse flag | JRV 151 | JRV 152 | JRV 153 | | H/R contact and H/R flag | JRV 161 | JRV 162 | JRV 163 | | 2 pairs S/R+2 Pairs H/R Contacts and H/R flag | JRV 131 | JRV 132 | JRV 133 |

 | | Pt Fuse Failure Relay (JRV123)Item Code: JRV123 We are offering Pt Fuse Failure Relay (JRV123).
Feature
- Solid state reliability
- High speed operation
- Very high load impedance operation
Application
The relay monitors the healthiness of PT fuses.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION The relay consists of sensing the voltage across each of the fuses separately. In normal condition, the potential across the fuses is nearly zero. On opening out of the fuse the potential across the particular fuse goes up. This potential drives current through the LED of the opto-coupler. The opto-coupler gets switched on due to the current in the opto-coupler provides circuit path for external LED indication and as well for the electromagnetic relay. The sensing circuit comprising of the opto-coupler and the associated driving circuit is separate for each phase. However, the electromagnetic relay providing potential free contacts for alarm and control is common for all the 3 phases. TECHNICAL DATA | RATINGS | | | Rated voltage | 110VAC, 50Hz. 3 phase | | Load impedance | Load impedance between phases should not be more than 2 OK Ohms | | Operating time | Less than 10 milli seconds between the opening of fuse and closing of the open contact of electromagnetic relay | | Auxiliary Supply | 20 to 60V DC | | | 75 to 150V AC/DC | | | 175 to 300V DC / 185 to 250V AC | | OVER LOAD RATINGS | | | Voltage | 120% of rated voltage continuously | | BURDEN | | | Input voltage | 4 VA (maximum) at 110 V AC with zero load impedance | | Aux.
