The year is 1969. The place is the quaint Coimbatore suburb of Ganapathy. A small newly opened bakery was becoming a sensation with the local people. It satisfied a unique need to satisfy appetites with fresh, quality food in a casual, friendly setting.

Thats how we started as a unique local bakery.People loved our concept and so we evolved as a bakery cafe for them in their own neighbourhoods. by 2007, K R Bakes had more than 70 outlets in 23 major towns. Today, we continue to grow in order to provide more neibourhood locations convenient to you.We are more than just a place to get delicious food. We have become the place for happy guests and passionate employees. A very special place to go.
