Kaarthik Heat Transfer is also manufacturing spare tube bundles and shells for all the Heat Exchangers, Inter Coolers and After Coolers and Oil Coolers. On the replacement areas, we do lot of improvements on the Construction of the Tube bundles and Shells depending up on the type of application for which these Tube bundles and Shells are used.
If water is used on the shell side for cooling purpose, We offer Stainless Steel Baffle Plates for longer life of the tube bundles. If the quality of water is very bad and frequent cleaning is required on the shell side, we change the tube arrangements from Triangular Pitch to Square Pitch.

Hydraulic Oil Coolers are used on the Hydraulic Equipments namely, Hydraulic Power Packs, Injection moulding machines and Die casting machines. Some of our customers are using our Coolers as OEM attachment on their machines as our coolers are manufactured under the strict quality control which has earned a good name wih our customers. Kaarthik Heat Transfer had also manufactured and supplied cutting oil coolers to various industries for cooling the cutting oils which are used in the numerically controlled machining centres for production of various components. Our cutting oil coolers are extensively used by M/s. ABB Showatech Ltd. and other Automobile components exporting companies. Our Cutting Oil Coolers are compact in design and sleek in the construction are best suitable for fixing it on the machine centre cabinets in a compact manner on the oil line. We have adviced our customers to provide primary and secondary oil filters before allowing hot oil to flow inside the cooler to avoid the bur etc. depositing on the outer surface of the tube and reduce the efficiency of cooler.

These coolers are used to reduce the quenching Oil temperature of the Heat treatment oil. The Hot components are dipped in the Oil bath to increase the surface Hardness of the Automobile Components namely Crankshaft, Connecting rod and other items. The reliability of these Heat Exchanger should be very good because the water leakage due to defective cooler may cause serious Explosion and damage to the other equipments. Kaarthik Heat Transfer has supplied Quenching Oil Coolers to M/s. Shardlow India Ltd.,M/s. Lucas TVS Ltd.,M/s. Tvs Motor Co. Ltd.,M/s. Super Auto Forge Ltd. and M/s. Amalgamation Valeo Clutch Ltd.,in TamilNadu.

Our marine oil coolers are used on the mechanized Fishing Boats and Trawlers. These coolers are manufactured by "KAARTHIK" suitable for sea water application. We use the material namely Cupronickel, Admirality Brass and Copper for tubes and Stainless Steel - 304,Stainless Steel-316L for Tube Sheets. Mostly these coolers are with single pass flow arrangement on Shell and Tube side the End covers are made out of Cast Iron to avoid sea water corrosion. We are the regular supplier of this type of oil coolers to various Fishing Boat, Trawler Building companies and to M/s. Chidambaram Shipping Corporation at Chennai Harbour.

These Heat Exchangers are mostly used on Diesel Generating sets. Here on this Exchangers Engine water is circulated on the Shell side and the Raw water from the cooling tower is circulated on the Tube side. Mostly these Heat Exchangers are having construction with fixed Tube Sheets with Shell side parts are made out non-corrosive materials. The covers are mostly with Cast iron to avoid rusting and suitable for frequent opening and cleaning. The tubes will be made out of thicker gauge tubes.

Kaarthik Heat Transfer had also manufactured and supplied Heat Exchangers of complete Stainless Steel material. These Heat Exchangers are mostly used by our chemical customers for cooling corrosive fluids, Synthetic oils and refrigerants. These Heat Exchangers require less maintenance and easy installation. This type of Heat Exchangers are little expensive and are mostly used in the pollution controlling equipments and water treatment plants.

The plate heat exchanger consists of a pack of corrugated metal plates with portholes for the passage of the two fluids between which heat transfer will take place. The plate pack is assembled between a frame plate and a pressure plate and compressed by tightening bolts.
The plates are fitted with a gasket which seals the channel and directs the fluids into alternate channels. The number and size of the plates are determined by the flow rate, physical properties of the fluids, pressure drop and temperature program. The plate corroguations promote fluid turbulence and support the plates against differential pressure.
The plates and the pressure plate are suspended from an upper carrying bar and located by a lower guiding bar both of which are fixed to the support columns.
Connections are located in the frame cover, or if either or both fluids make more than a single pass within the unit, the frame and pressure plates. We are in the process of developing the Plate Heat Exchanger and would take up the manufacturing in the near future.

We are also offering the Air Blast Coolers up to 24,000 Kcal/Hr. These coolers are mostly used in the places where there is no cooling water available or the available water is of very bad quality which can not be used for cooling purpose. But these coolers are required to be installed in a good ventilated place where there is a good air circulation.

Kaarthik Heat Transfer had also manufactured and supplied this type of Oil coolers to Cement factories, where the Bearing are cooled by the oil in a bath.
Such oil bath is fitted with this type of Heat Exchangers to bring down the oil temperature to the minimum. These Heat Exchangers will not have a shell but only will have Tubes and End covers and are immersed in the oil tank. The coolant will pass through the tubes and remove the heat from the oil. This type of cooler is supplied by us to M/s.Dalmia Cement (Bharat) India Ltd. Trichy.

Kaarthik Heat Transfer is manufacturing Vertical Air/Vacuum receivers for normal working pressure of 7Kg/Cm2g and also for higher pressure up to 20Kg/Cm2g.The Air receivers of volume 1cu.m., 1.5cu.m., 2cu.m., 3cu.m. and 5cu.m.The thickness of the shell plates are 5mm,6mm,8mm and 10mm depending upon the working pressure. The en shield are cold forged on 6mm,8mm,10mm and 12mm MS sheets are used. The fabrication of the Air receivers are carried out as per the pressure vessel code and with proper material.

We are also manufacturing Smaller Air Receivers of volume up to 500Ltrs.These Air Receivers are suitable for moulting small air compressors from 1 HP to 15 HP. These Air receivers are suitable for Horizontal mounting as shown in the picture.Further they are also mounted on the wheels for easy transportation from one place to another on portable services.
