Dust Collector Systems

Cartridge Dust Collector

Cartridge Dust Collector
The Cartridge dust collector uses a perforated metal cartridge with a cellulose filter pleated, non woven filter media, bound by steel caps at the top and bottom. The end caps were joined with the cellulose media and outer and inner cores by an adhesive. Cellulose media was used because it has pressure drop qualities similar to those of felted media in pulse jet collectors. Pleated media filter elements with narrow pleat spacing (8 pleats per inch) are efficient for filter cakes (formed with fine dusts) that are less than 0.02 inch thickness. Narrow pleat spacing loses its relevance when dust particle size is beyond 0.03 inch. The pleated design provides greater amount of filtering area while occupying lesser space. Consequently the air - filter media ratio, pressure drop and cartridge collector size reduce considerably.

Both shaker collectors and fabric pulse jet collectors had limited dust collection efficiency when it came to applications such as high density dust from powder coating booths. The high-density dust from these powder-coating booths caused the fabric  pulse jet collectors to operate at a high pressure drop and thereby increased compressed air requirements for cleaning. Another problem was that exhaust air could not be recycled into work areas due to high amount of dust penetration into  adjacent bags. Cartridge dust collectors overcame the above problems effectively.

Cyclone Dust Collector

Cyclone Dust Collector
More often than not, cyclone dust collectors are the equipment of choice for many applications involving the collection of various sizes of dust particles. In some cases, cyclone dust collectors have been used as a pre-filter before a cartridge or  baghouse collector, to weed out the larger, more abrasive dust particles that can easily damage standard media filters. This is a fairly common use for a cyclone, due to its drop-out style design, in which heavier particles have a natural tendency to fall out of the air stream while taking a torturous path through the air cleaner.

High Speed Blower

High Speed Blower
A powerful blast of super-forced air is one of handiest, most-effective clean-up aids available but all of the other blowers we've used were so heavy and cumbersome, using them seemed like more work than just grabbing a broom or rake. Not so with this amazing little blower with huge air-power. Designed and built to simply provide the greatest air-power possible in a hand-held blower. The 550-watt long-life motor pushes air out the flexible rubber nozzle at 200 MPH--directing leaves, dust and debris wherever you want. For fast dust and fine particle removal, simply swap the nozzle with the included dust bag and you have a 3/4 HP hand vac. So handy and useful, you'll want two--one for indoor cleanup and one for garage/ workshop/ outdoor use. One-year warranty and jack's tool shed worry-free satisfaction guarantee.

Features:
-Incredible air-force (200 MPH) from a small and lightweight indoor/outdoor.
-Multi-purpose blower.
-Effortless sidewalk.
-Garage-floor.
-Construction site and driveway sweeping Super easy-to-use.
-Compact and lightweight (3 lbs); vacuum function  for dust.
-Sawdust powerful 550-watt (3/4 HP!) long-life commercial blower motor.
-An indispensable.
-Work and home time-and-effort saver.

Reverse Pulse Jet Dust Collector

Reverse Pulse Jet Dust Collector
The term reverse pulse or jet dust collector refers to the air cleaner's cleaning cycle. To clean the filter, a quick burst of compressed air is shot through the filter media in the opposite direction of the dusty air stream. During normal dust collection, dusty air flows through the filter, and a solid layer of dust forms on the filter surface. This dust build-up is called a dust cake or filter cake. A quick burst of air shot through the filter in the opposite direction knocks the dust cake off the filter, breaking it apart. The dust cake crumbles and falls into a collection bin or barrel.

Some dust collectors must stop in order to clean, while other can pulse clean while running.  Reverse pulse cleaning was first used in fabric bag filters.  Later the reverse jet dust collector cleaning technology was adapted to cartridge filters.
