Concentric lay stranded aluminium conductor (AAC) offered by us are made up of one or more strands of drawn EC (electrical grade) aluminium. These conductors find application in low, medium as well as high voltage overhead lines. Further, AAC has extensive use in urban areas where spans are usually short but high conductivity is required.

Excellent corrosion resistance of aluminium also makes AAC a conductor of choice in coastal areas. Due to its relatively poor strength to weight ratio, AAC has limited usage in transmission lines as well as in rural distribution because of long spans utilized.

Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) offered by us is concentrically stranded conductor that feature one or more layers of hard drawn 1350-H19 aluminium wire on galvanized steel wire core. These cores can be of single wire/ stranded (depending on the size). Further, steel core wire is made available in Class A, B or Class C galvanization for providing desired corrosion protection. Further, additional corrosion protection is also made available through application of grease to core/infusion of completed conductor with grease.

• Proportion of steel & aluminium in ACSR conductor can be selected based on mechanical strength & current carrying capacity as demanded by each application
• ACSR conductors are well recognized for their record of economy, dependability as well as favorable strength/weight ratio
• ACSR conductors combine light weight as well as good conductivity of aluminium with high tensile strength as well as ruggedness of steel
