About Us

Kaizen Plastomould has been a leading manufacturer of injection and blow moulds since 1997.

The Company has a wealth of experience in the mould-making industry and serves a wide range of blue chip clients, companies whose products are household names and leading car manufacturers in India.

Mr. Jeet B. Vaghani, Director, Kaizen Plastomould Pvt. Ltd., is a graduate of Plastic and Rubber Institute, London and has been an integral part of a 25 year old family business of designing, manufacturing and marketing of various plastic consumer items and industrial molds.

Mr. Vaghani himself has attained specialisation and expertise in the field of design and manufacture of all types of industrial molds for local market as well as export and has successfully established and is running a Sophisticated Tool Room and Component Manufacturing Unit with state-of-the-art machinery and equipment in the industrial area of mumbai, india.

The people at Kaizen Plastomould are one of the keys to its success. The Company has a highly motivated, trained and dedicated workforce performing in modern well-equipped premises at a single site.

Kaizen Plastomould offers a one-stop shop - something few other toolmakers can provide. The Company manages the entire operation – moulding, sampling and inspecting in-house. This has helped the company provide total solutions to its customer base. With the help of the in house component manufacturing division and tool room, the tools produced are competitively priced with short delivery periods and a smooth production assured and with the addition of a well laid assembly section and a dust free metallizing plant has made most of the clients look onto Kaizen Plastomould Pvt. Ltd. as a complete vendor for its plastic requirements.


Design Centre

The Design Centre is the backbone of Kaizen's innovative abilities. Packed with the very latest in computer hardware and software applications including CAD/CAM workstations et al, and spearheaded by sophisticated equipment, it is here that the three-dimensional images to extract requirements are created.

Adding to our designing capability is 'Moldflow' - a unique software that eliminates the trials and errors of mould-making, ensuring quality and reducing development time.

Operated by highly creative personnel, the Design Centre is among the most sophisticated units of its kind in our industry.

Tool Room

In a rock-solid foundation such as ours, it goes without saying that execution is as important as the conception. So our Tool Room section has been precisely designed to take up tasks even at short notice.

Consisting of sophisticated equipment replete with spark erosion and milling machines, a precision assembly line in its midst, the Tool Room works virtually round-the-clock, producing moulds as well as effecting maintenance and repairs even during emergencies.

CNC Machines
Operational since 1997, the Tool Room uses specialised and sophisticated equipment that includes CNC Vertical Machining centers, CNC Milling Machines and a Digitizing Machine.

CNC Milling Machines have been specially imported to achieve 100% self-sufficiency and accuracy in mould design and fabrication, ensuring quality and reducing mould-making time. With the acquisition of these advanced equipments, the Tool Room has the distinction of being one of the first to possess In-house capabilities from conceptuatisation to completion.

Injection and Blow Moulding

With the inclusion of New Injection Moulding Machines with Micro Processor Controls & New Blow Moulding Machine (30 Ltr capacity) equipped with Moog Control Systems to achieve accurate parison control.

High-tech Injection and Blow Moulding Machines run round-the-clock. Well laid out plants, having integrated assembly lines, inclusive of decorating facilities like Pad Printing, Spray Painting etc. follow Kanban and JIT (Just in Time) Systems at our facilities in Mumbai. Speedy development, emphasis on quality, meticulous detail in execution, maintenance of equipment and continuous training to the personnel are constantly stressed to ensure complete satisfaction to our ever increasing clientele.

Our QC department combines of a strong team of engineers focussing mainly on customer satisfaction by following stringent quality measures from procurement of raw material to finished products. This motivated team of employees coupled with our state of art machines like (all the m/c s) has helped us achieve high quality and follow and master quality systems like ISO/TS 169498.

Product Profile

The Kaizen IPD boasts a catalogue consisting of over 200 products specifically for Automobile and Consumer Appliances manufacturers. These are processed from a range of raw materials which include PP, Filled PP, Blended PP, Rubberized PP/PVC, Polycarbonate, Nylons, Glass Filled Nylons and ABS.

Kaizen IPD's portfolio of finished products can be classified into Blow Moulded and Injection Moulded Assemblies.

The former includes Air Ventilation Systems like Ducts and Hoses, Radiator Tanks etc., while the latter consists of Glove Box Assemblies, Instrument Panels, Cluster Assemblies, Radiator Grills, Door Trims and Pads for the Automobile and Two-wheeler industry.

The IPD also manufactures critical components for the refrigerator/washing machine and television industries and is steadily making a foray into exports of moulds and custom-made components.
