Foundry is in our blood and we are into casting business from the last four generations.
We manufacture castings in mild steel, cast iron, SG ductile iron in different grades as per international standards or as per buyers specifications.
The products engineered by Kajeco find ready acceptance in the Arab World, Australia, USA, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, West Africa etc. The consistent maintenance of quality delivery schedules have won laurels for the organization and large value orders are flowing everyday.
Our foundry has in-house pattern shop, machining and testing facilities both physical and chemical .
Our Product range includes Pipes, Pipe Fittings, Manhole Covers, Gratings, Surface Box, Ornamental Castings, Garden Furniture, Industrial Castings, Non-Ferrous Castings, Special Castings and various other products.
The process of moulding in the foundry includes pit moulding, cope drag moulding with match plates. We use both pneumatic and hand moulding machines. A complete shell moulding plant including core shooters are used for shell sand castings.
After pouring of metal in the moulds the mould is taken to knock out here the sand is removed by giving small jolts. After visual inspection and other physical test the casting is taken to shot blasting / sand blasting machines and tumbling barrels for removing the entire sand.
The casting is again inspected and sent to fettling shop for removal of fins and flesh. If the casting is to be machined it is sent to the machine shop for machining if it is unmachined it is sent for dipping-galvanizing-zinc plating etc. |
