While upbringing the brand of BOYES, Narendra Lal Kundu diversified in the field of raw materials for the Confectionery, Biscuits, Pharmaceuticals, Paints and Textiles industries and also went for manufacturing packaging materials of plastic, paper, aluminium foils, etc, after He installed the Multi-colour Roto-Gravure printing machines. Narendra Lal Kundu, the man of noble vision, had set definite ideals for all THE KUNDU GROUP OF INDUSTRIES. It was his leadership, perseverance, labour and foresight that has brought BOYES to the stature of today. His mission was to maintain a notch of quality and to add on.

In the year 1992, Kalyan Confectionery Pvt Ltd. Had a new factory with machinery imported from Germany and Italy. BOYES entered its adolescence in the vast spread of the new factory with all modern and capable technology and human resources. Since then BOYES had a sprawl in the markets of 12 states inland and,beyond the territorial, in Bangladesh/Nepal and Africa. BOYES enters youth this leap year with a broad leap towards confectionery of global standard. TUMI, the new division of BOYES has started its operations from the first week of April 2004. The brand of TUMI is going to present a range of candies of global
Standard in their extraordinary taste and innovative making. The best and the latest Cooking Range and Depositing Line (from BOSCH-MAKAT Candy Technology, GmbhH of Germany) have been added to our production system. The system now, is capable to produce candies of attractive look, smooth and easy-melting constitution and, of course, unbeatable taste. TUMI pioneers the technology in the Eastern India.
