Temephos 50 EC (TEMPEST)
We offer temephos 50% EC that is available in 5 litre packs. It destroys the larvae of the insects at the aquatic breeding source that is a much easier way to prevent insects. Temephos 50% EC is traded as tempest and it has proved to be an excellent larvicide. WHO recommends 1 ppm dose of tempest in potable water storage cisterns, overhead tanks and wells.

Features:

  • TEMPEST is highly effective in all types of breeding situation i.e. from highly polluted to clean water bodies.
  • TEMPEST controls larvae of Anopheles, Culex & Aedes and dramatically reduces the mosquito population of the treated areas.
  • TEMPEST at a dose of 1 ppm is recommended even by WHO for use in potable water in storage cisterns, overhead tanks, wells etc.
  • TEMPEST is recommended for the control of larvae in standing water, moist areas, woodland, shallow ponds, around edges of lakes, swamps, drains, marshes, pools, tidal waters, catch basins and temporary sources such as rain water collections at construction sites, etc.
  • TEMPEST is an environment friendly larvicide. It poses no hazards to fish,birds,animals, or any other non-target organisms, when used as recommended.
