About Us

The kamachi group started in 1978 with single location mild steel scrap trading in chennai, india, has consistently grown and expanded both vertically and hrizontally. Today, import of steel scrap and steel products through the various ports in india contributes substantially to the groups operations.


Well planned and systamatic diversion to steel manufacturing with continous backward and forward integration, creating capacities from processing of iron ore to manufature of re-bars has added tremendous strength to the intrinsic value of kamachi group.


Each of the manufacturing / processing / storage centres of the group conforms to total commitment in controlling the de-gradation of the environment by maintaining green- belt and open space around the manufacturing/ storage complexes. Besides, kamachi group has also invested substantially in generation of power by harnessing wind energy and also by recovering the waste heat generated during the manufacturing process.
