Air Cleaner Units (HEPA Sterilizers) These Air cleaner units are ideal for use in closed room environments which have wall mounted air conditioners or a centralized air conditioning system. With the movement of persons in and out of the room as well as within the room, fine dust is generated through various means e.g.
While the comfort of lower temperature as provided by air conditioners is good, unfortunately the quality of air that we breathe again and again in such closed rooms is not so clean. The air conditioners really cannot clean the air enough. It is in such a situation that Air cleaner units are very useful - specially which are provided with HEPA filters. These HEPA filters trap dust particles up to 0.3 micron at 99.97% efficiency. Hence, there is a substantial improvement in the quality of air that we inhale. In addition to cleaning of air it also traps virus and submicronic live germs floating in the air to some extent. Hence, these units also serve as Air Sterilizers. For example a classroom or an OPD waiting hall at clinics of size 15 ft width x 30 ft length and 10 ft height has a volume of 4500 cubic feet. HEPA Sterilizer Model KAMFIL 60 HS is designed to filter about 60,000 cubic feet of air per hour. That means this HEPA Sterilizer will clean the complete air over 12 times in the enclosed room during one hour. Putting a mask on the face is not a practical solution in closed rooms. The dust and virus needs to be filtered. The doctors in clinics who examine infected patients everyday are at highest risk to their own health and we believe installing these units will be a blessing in disguise to both doctors and patients alike.
