The House
This is a 90-year-old heritage house Inn, authentic in old-style architecture and functionality. It affords a glimpse of the life of an agricultural family in a small town - the master's room, room for the women and children, room for the gods, open-to-sky courtyards, verandahs, the backyard with agricultural implements. Added features are descriptions on the history of Kanchipuram and its temples, traditional music as backdrop and a stock of exquisite handicrafts for the tourist to buy.
Attractions & Comforts
Ø Craft exhibition and live demonstrations by craftsmen and artisans will be arranged during peak tour seasons. Feel free to buy from our stock of handicrafts.
Ø Our food court offers hygienically prepared South Indian dry snacks.
Ø At the rear end of the house Inn is located a modern block of toilets for men and women, maintained absolutely clean to five star standards, and enough to cater to coachloads of tourists at a time.
Value Added Services
1. A group visiting Kanchipuram could also visit Kanchi Kudil and see the heritage and architecture. The entrance fee is just Rs. 10/- per head.
2. The group, if wishes to have south Indian meals served in a typical traditional environment (for eg, served in plantain leaf etc,.), they can tell in advance so that they can serve in that fashion.

The tourists who have visited Kanchi Kudil have been delighted by their experience and the Tour Operators and Guides have highly commended the effort. Kanchi Kudil charges a small entrance fee of Rs.20 (US$ 0.5) to the tourist. It is conveniently located on the road leading to the Kailasanather Temple.
