Kanegrade has colours to suit most applications and would be happy to sample for trials, as each usage would be based on different parameters.
Considerable time can be saved by giving the technical section as much information as possible on the end use, eg. pH, temperature, light, to which the final product will be subjected. Kanegrade staff can then recommend the product required to give the colour sought. A customer blending service by our technical personnel is available to produce formulations to individual customer requirements.
Kanegrade's extensive range of colours and extracts include Annatto to Xanthophyll. The colours are available in a variety of strengths and solubility, in liquid (water/oil soluble) or spray dried form to suit customers' demands.
Natural colours impart colouring to the food but natural extracts are multifunctional. They combine flavour, colour and natural antioxidants ranging from Aronia to Sandalwood.
In terms of legislation, Kanegrade offers a service to customers to check the permitted list of colours in the required country and the correct dosage level.

A blend of beta carotene and paprika to give an orange/red shade for sauces, confectionery and soups.
It is medium stable on heat, light and acid.
A blend of annatto/curcumin to give a yellow shade for fat, margarine, ice cream and yoghurt.
A blend of carmine/beta carotene to give a red shade for beverages, jams and jellies.
A blend of spinach and curcumin to give a lime green colour suitable for dairy products, sauces, soups and sugar confectionery.
