Initially he started inter state trading in coconuts, 1976 he started manufacturing coir fibre and twisted curled coir later in 1992 he started Leather Chemicals as the Distributors of M/s.Balmer Lawrie & Co., Ltd., Mr.K.Ramesh, Mr.K.Suresh and Mr.K.Raghu sons of Shri Kannan have expanded the operations in the fields of Leather Chemicals, Coconut coir and Engineering Plastics. Now Kanna Group is proud to have a wide network with their Head office at Chennai. The Flagship company of Kanna Group, M/s.Kanna Chemie (p) Ltd., are pioneers in the field of Leather Chemicals. They operate as sole Selling Agents in South India for M/s.Zschimmer & Schwarz, Germany for their Wet end Leather Chemicals. The sole selling agents in India for M/s.Langro Chemie, Germany for their Finishing Chemicals.
We import WET End chemicals and FINISHING Chemicals from Germany and store it in our warehouses and sell them to tanners as per their requirements. We also provide assistance to Big Tanners who may be interested in Importing directly from Germany and act as Indenting Agents also.
From 2006 we have started exporting coir products like cocopeat,growbags, and coir fiber.
