Powergrid Corporation is one the largest transmission utilities in the world, so when Powergrid decided to deploy Kapco products during its village electrification project as the part of Government of India s 10th and 11th year plan, it was a matter of pride as well as a challenge for us. NTPC
Kapco has been proudly associated with India s largest power company, NTPC since 2005. The journey started when NTPC decided to deploy Kapco products as a part of the village electrification project of the 10th plan and 11th year plan (Same was undertaken by Powergrid too). As much as 85 % of their requirements of Current and Voltage transformers for 33 11 KV substations were met to their satisfaction and have been running with zero failure rates since then.

ABB, the global leader in power and automation technologies has been using state-of-art Current and Voltage transformers from Kapco. Since 2002 the transformers have been used across India for a variety of ABB s projects. The diverse requirements were met to ABB s expectations within the stipulated time period.

Areva TAndD is one of the three global players in energy transmission and distribution with presence in over 100 countries. Areva TAndD has been using Kapco transformers for a variety of projects all over India since 2004. Kapco is proud to have Areva TAndD as one of their satisfied customers.
NDPL And BSES
North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL) started as a joint venture between Tata Power Company and the Government of NCT of Delhi with the majority stake being held by Tata Power, while BSES Rajdhani Power is one of the partners with Reliance Energy Limited. After taking over Delhi Vidyut Board (DVB), both of these organisations replaced all 66 KV current transformers across the region with state-of-art Kapco transformers. While both NDPL and BSES follow highly stringent processes for selecting their suppliers, Kapco has been able to match up to all their expectations and requirements.
