In 1995, a handful of people, residents of Burdwan District in West Bengal, India came together to give shape to a dream. The reality became KARUJA, a crafts family, dedicated to the preservation of heritage and the creation of eco-friendly enterprise. The primary objects were to revive the timeless tradition of handicrafts & folk culture and prove their relevance in a contemporary world.
