Established in the year 1979, we “Katalist Consultants Private Limited,” are one of the leading designers, manufacturers, suppliers and exporters of Roof safety, Building construction material and Personal protective equipment. With first system designed by us to provide roof workers adequate protection, we have never look backed since then. Today, we offer customers a wide range of parented as well as internationally recognized solutions that meet the demands of different industrial units situated on coastline as well as of Chemical & other Corrosion Prone Industries.

Presenlty, the wide range of systems delivered by us meet the industrial safety guidelines of various State Governments vide their Factory Rules. With nothing available to protect roof workers while they were on the roof till 1980, the initiative undertaken by us was highly appreciated by Factory Inspectorate. The system also received praise from Management of the cross section of industries and Factory Directorates throughout the country. Different bodies also acknowledged our innovative and patented systems. Further, the several prestigious awards we have received for its design also speaks of the high quality standards delivered by us in the end solutions offered.

Safety in Indian Industry is in development stage; hence this is one area where there is a lot that we can do and less chances of unwarranted, “dog eats dog” competition. With most of the manufacturers in Indian Safety field being either smart Traders (Purchasing products from foreign market and selling the same in Indian Industry) or copy masters (Copying product while giving least to the quality), we ourselves invented the products. These products help in providing solutions to vitally important yet small Safety problems which got ignored earlier.

With Globalisation the developed world market is being opened for trade with developing countries like us. With our share of this market for products having export potential, we have to make sincere efforts to explore this situation. Further, Globalisation has also opened market for trade representation of foreign manufacturers and also for foreign collaboration.

Backed by well developed manufacturing facilities as well as services of experienced industry professionals, we have gained expertise in successfully designing, inventing and manufacturing of Roof safety, building construction material as well as personal protective equipment. During marketing of Industrial Roof Safety Products, we were confronted with the problem of inadequate protrusion of bolts due to corrosion, which resulted in failure of fixing of the systems. To overcome this problem, in the year 1987-88, we invented Patented “DRIPGRIP” System, that features zinc-phosphating and polymer coating of the bolts and polymer accessories in place of using primitive as well as crude G.I. bolts as well as bitumen washers (Used since 1936). This replacement received warm welcome from industries situated on coastline as well as by Chemical & other Corrosion Prone Industries.

With increased element of safety awareness in the Indian Industry, we also invented product for those who are precariously working on the roofs. Understanding the demands of net strength, as well as bulky and cumbersome handling, we invented a system that helped in speeding up the work without compromising on safety, while working on rooftops. The solution designed was Fabricare KatNet System, which is a lightweight net to be fixed on top of roof & not below.

In the year 1999, we helped in providing better alternative to foam / sponge type earplugs, which was a major health & hygiene hazard as these had life of just a week as well as subjected the user to contamination and infection. Being absorbing type, these would also absorb everything on hands of wearer – oil, dust, grease, chemicals that could lead to potential hazard to internal organs of humans.

For overcoming the menace of high-level noise, we developed an alternative to hazardous, yet traditional foam type. Based on well developed designing and manufacturing facilities, we made this Peg Type “LoBel” earplugs available to industrial clients based in India and abroad. Having received overwhelming response from industries, we have successfully established ourselves in the Indian Industry across the country and are presently concentrating on the export of our systems.

In 2002, passing through tough selection procedures of CBI - an agency working under the Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Trade and Commerce, Govt. of The Netherlands, we got selected for EXPRO 40 (This is a program that makes industries capable of exporting their Personal Protective Equipment to European Union). One of our product “LoBel” earplugs has got coveted “CE” marking & certification from BGIA, Sankt Augustin, Germany. Conforming to EN 352-2, these were exhibited in Oct. 2005 in A+A 2005 (A fair of P.P.E. in Düsseldorf, Germany). Presently, the product is being exported to Europe as well as other countries because of its outstanding merits over foam type earplugs.

While manufacturing the products, we ensure that each of the process followed at our end complies with the defined safety and working standards. Further, our range of products is manufactured under strict quality assurance as well as international standards.
