Energy Efficiency - When cooking with conventional stoves like gas stove, energy is converted to heat and then the heat is transferred to the cooking appliance. In the process, heat is lost to the surroundings instead of being efficiently transferred to the food. In induction cooking, energy is supplied directly to the cooking vessel.
