Quality Policy / ProcessesAt Krishnaveni Carbon, attention is given even to minutest of details paving way to ensure quality at every stage - from procurement schedule to final finished prodcut. The basic raw material that goes into the manufacturing process is procured from the best of sources. The prerequisite of each material that makes its way into Krishnaveni Carbon is the conformance to any international standard, vis-à-vis IS, BS, JIS, DIN, ASTM or any other standards as required by the customer. The in process quality checks carried out ensures strict adherence to specifications. The final product is check for quality using all modern testing methods to ensure production of high quality products consistently.
InfrastructureThe manufacturing of complete range of products is supported by most modern infrastructure.
Housed in a well spaced area, the plant is equipped with special purpose machines for machining carbon, and steel components.The unique characteristics of carbon necessitate usage of dedicated CNC and PLC machines with special toolings. These machines deliver very high productivity while it meets critical dimensional accuracy. Carbon pads are either resign impregnated or metal impregnated depending upon design and customer requirements. Bonding of carbon to the thrust plate is carried out using WHO approved special adhesive in a controlled environment. State-of-the-art CNC machines, are engaged for machining of cast iron and steel components. With capability to operate at very high speeds, these CNC machines enable the company to meet the high volume demands of its customers. Bundle Cutting, Gang Drilling and Broaching machines maximise production. CNC Grinding, Lapping and polishing machines provide excellent surface finish.
