Krishnaveni Carbon Thrust / Radial Bearing Assemblies are manufactured for submersible motors to meet the dynamic /varying load conditions of bore-wells. The range of products starts from 0.5 HP to 200 HP and are suitable for 3 " to 12" submersible motors.

Based on customer's needs, the Carbon Thrust Bearing Pads / Bushes can be given in either resin impregnated or metal impregnated form.

Carbon and Graphite materials are used in mechanical seals in cases where gases or liquids with low hydrodynamic lubricating action have to be sealed.

Can be supplied with a variety of surface finish. If the application permits, bearing in mind economy and manufacturing costs, storage and packaging, the following maximum surface finish criteria should be considered.

Gland Seals are classified as Contact Seals and as contact free, Grooved Split Seals. Contact Seals are multi segmented seal rings used for rotating shafts or linear motion pistons. The sealing effect is obtained with springs that press the carbon segments to the sealed surface. Contact Seals continuously rub against a counterface material and as such are always subject to mechanical wear. Grooved Seals are designed as single part or multi-segment rings which require a precisely defined clearance to the sealed shaft.

Steam Joints are sealing components between a steam pipe and a rotation assembly such as a shaft, cylinder or roller. The joint seals water, steam and oils. Further, it neutralises swing, pendular and tumbling motion. This functionality is normally achieved with a concave or convex seal ring surface which is pressed against the sealing surface with a spring. Certain configurations also have a cylindrical wearing surface. Steam Joints are exposed to all known lubrication conditions including wet, mixed and dry running.
