About Us

Keesara Plastics Private Limited previously known as Vijay Industries, was established in 1980 with registered office at Kodungaiyur, Chennai, India. The injection moulding machine plant is at Kodungaiyur with 20 machines. During the year 1989 Torch light manufacturing unit was started at Sholavaram, Chennai. In the year 2006 the torch light manufacturing unit was shifted to Dehradun to take advantage of tax benefits provided by the Government of India to Industries setup in Uttarakhand State.
Initially we manufactured bulb type torches, subsequently in the year 2006 we upgraded to manufacture LED type torches also.
Keesara was the first to produce LED torch lights in India under a big brand name NIPPO.
In the year 2008-09 the turnover of the Company was 25 Crores and the company produced four million LED torch lights during the year.
