Sunday, 6. July 2008. Closing the financial year (01/07/07 – 30/06/08) KERN-LIEBERS again looks back on a successful year. The group’s consolidated turnover increased by 5% to 469 million EUR compared to the previous year.
The consolidated turnover of the coming financial year is forecast at 500 million EUR (increase of 6%). At present, the group of companies has 5,840 employees worldwide (5,530 on 30/06/07). The staff at the Schramberg locations, comprising KERN-LIEBERS, Carl Haas (incl. King) and Bruker-Spaleck, presently adds up to 1,700. In Germany the group of companies has 3,170 employees altogether (3,130 on 30/06/07), 178 thereof completing vocational training or studies. June 2007 On the occasion of the suppliers meeting in May 2007 Ikuzo Kojima, President of Tokai Rika CZ, handed over the Supplier Award in Gold for superior quality and excellent performance to Jaroslav Kopp, managing director of KERN-LIEBERS CR. Since 2003 KERN-LIEBERS CR has delivered springs and components for seat belt systems to Tokai Rika CZ. During this time the companies’ cooperation has been expanded continuously and KERN-LIEBERS has become a reputed partner to Tokai Rika.
