Explosion proof, Flameproof, Weatherproof Enclosure for CCTV Camera and Lens is used for enclosing CCTV Camera & Lens in potentially hazardous for monitoring desired views. If the ambient temperature is below 7°C then a Heater and Kit is used to maintain transparency through the viewing window of the enclosure where the toughened glass is fixed.

This enclosure can be used Gas Groups I, IIA and Group II,
Category 2.

The material of construction is Aluminum Alloy Casting (LM-6). The enclosure is designed to take care of integrated explosion of the equipments mounted inside the enclosure. Under no circumstances the equipments will assist the explosion to occur nor it will produce or release any explosive atmosphere. It has been Designed for temperature class T6 (85° C). The enclosure has a platform inside on which the camera and the heater Blower Kit are mounted.

The heater Blower Kit has been provided so that if condensation occurs then heater will heat the internal atmosphere and blower will blow the hot air towards the toughened glass provided on the front cover through which heat will radiate outwards. Provision for cable entry has been given in the enclosure through which cable of internal equipment pass.
The enclosure is designed precluding situations and after due analysis of possible operating faults.

Operation :
The enclosure can be mounted on the Pan and Tilt if observations are to be made in all directions. Also, they can be simply mounted at the required location with necessary mounting brackets when a fixed view is required.

Application :
Suitable for enclosing CCTV Camera and Lens along with Heater Blower kit in potentially explosive areas of Refineries, Coal Mines, chemical, Petrochemical Plants, Iron and Steel Industries and shipping Industries.

Main Enclosure, Front Cover, Rear Cover, camera mounting cover with platform, Wiper Enclosure with Front and Rear Covers in LM-6 Aluminum Alloy casting

Cable Entries :
For Main Enclosure through Flameproof Glands located at rear bulk head or body. For Wiper motor, through rear flange of the wiper body.
Mximum-3 for Main Enclosure of Size 19MM or 25MM -1 For Wiper Enclosure of Size 19 MM.

Material of Construction : SS sheets of 16, 19 in 316 grades
Nozzles, Pipes, in SS 316 grade,
Rubber Hose for Water & Air circulation suitable for Water and Air Pressure up to 4.5Kg/cm2. Rubber Hoses in ½” & ¼” to withstand Temperature up to 120º C (See attached table below)
Air Purging System Nozzles are provided.
Toughened glass 150 MM Dia. X 12 mm thick
Gasket on front & rear flanges between the BODY and the Covers.
Thermal Insulation between Middle & Outer shell.
Degree of Protection IP : 65 as per IS: 13947 (part-I) 1993
Cable Entry from rear flange Cover is provided.

Flameproof Weatherproof CCTV System Equipment-Weatherproof Housing.

Weatherproof Enclosure in Aluminum Casting is designed for housing CCTV Camera & Lens. The CCTV camera & lens are installed on the platform provided inside the enclosure. Wiper Enclosure is mounted over the main enclosure. The wiper is used for cleaning the Glass of Main Enclosure when visibility through the camera is poor. Wiper will operate only when the solenoid valve is operated and water is sprinkled on the glass of the main enclosure. There is a provision for heater and Blower kit which is thermostatically controlled to maintain proper Temperature inside main enclosure whenever ambient Temperature falls below 10ºC to avoid formation of mist and hence poor visibility.
