Continuous upgradation of facilities has helped the Kelkar Group to maintain its technological edge. The combined capability of two automated compounding units (for the Indian and exports market respectively) ensures consistent production of up to 60 tons of fragrance per day. Rigorous quality procedures are a norm. Consequently, Kelkar product quality is by-word in over 40 countries.
The Kelkar Group produces over 250 ingredients in-house at K.V.Arochem Ltd.-the bulk aroma-manufacturing unit. This option enables the Group to offer customized products and gain substantial competitive cost advantage.
The Kelkar Group’s research laboratory houses advanced analytical instrumentation such as G.S., G.L.C., - M.S. and H.P.L.C. The Group’s cutting edge research center for biotechnology will augment its research capabilities further.
Making optimum use of natural resources available in India, the Kelkar Group has successfully developed high yielding varieties of aromatic plants at its Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kashmir farms.
