Our micanite tape is made from one or two layers of extra thin and large mica splitting or mica paper bonded with epoxy, polyester or silicon binders backed with paper, nylon (silk) with glass cloth, polyester films and nomex paper in 'F' & 'H' class of insulation.

Our micanite tapes are used in generators field and armature coils requiring maximum resistance to high voltage and temperature. These tapes are strong enough for both hand or machine application. The polyester mica tapes have very high tensile and dielectric strength due to polyester film.
