We, as an organization, Khera Hydpower Co. (KHC) have started in the year 1996, which were earlier a part of our sister concern of Khera Tools House (KTH), which was established in 1986. While working as an area sales manager with Wadco Tools Ltd. (manufacturer of portable pneumatic tools), the owner of our firm, Mr. H J S Khera, visualized the importance of fluid power for automation of manufacturing processes in the existing bicycle and allied industries and thus made a mind to start with a new venture. Having figured out the future and potential of fluid power, KTH was established in May 1986, with the sole objective of trading in pneumatic pipeline accessories. Slowly and steadily, we have increased our product range so as to include a complete range of pneumatic & hydraulic elements, accessories and fittings. His 34 years of industry experience, he is also district governor at Lions Clubs International and also a member of Ludhiana Management Association.

At the time of our establishment, we were the only firm dealing in fluid power products in north India after Delhi. Fluid power is the only solution for the automation of manufacturing processes like job clamping, linear motion, circular motion, tightening, un-screwing, pressing, forming and assembling. Throughout this period, we have carved a niche for ourselves for the quality & genuineness of products and after sale service in the industry. Apart from these, we also run a parallel firm with the name Khera Solar Devices, working as an authorized channel partners with Messrs Tata BP Solar India Ltd. (A venture of Tata Group) & dealing in complete range of solar products. Subsequently, in the year 1996, KTH was transformed into Khera Hydpower Co. (KHC) with the idea that the name of the organization should synchronize with the business it is doing. It is again a proprietary concern and is in the business of Manufacturing & Marketing of complete range of fluid power products all over India.

With the quality of our range like hydraulic check valves, hydraulic proportional valves, pneumatic non return valves, pneumatic spool valves, hydraulic power packs, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic tank accessories, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic control valves etc., we have been honored with certificate for excellence in productivity, quality assurance & management; that was presented by the former Governor, Hon'ble Sh. Satyanarain Reddy. Moreover, we are also received Udyog Rattan Award by the Hon'ble speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Sh. Charanjit Singh Atwal, on 28th December of 1999 at Ludhiana.
