Killick Marine Services Private Limited (KMSPL), a young and dynamic Company was set up in November 1996.lt's parent company, Killick Nixon Limited, has been engaged in the business of general agency and ship manning ever since it was established in 1857 and has played an important role in the growth of shipping in India.
The shipping expertise and experience of Killick Nixon have been of long standing in the liner trade, tramp/charter trade, heavy lift carriers, salvage and towage for offshore services, and in the field of recruitment of officers and ratings for principal’s vessels
In view of the ever increasing demand for total crew management, Killick Nixon decided to separate its ship manning activity from other shipping related functions and to consolidate the same under a dedicated and focused company. Hence, all aspects of management of Indian shipboard personnel employed by its various principals, became the responsibility of KMSL.
KMSPL is registered under the Companies Act 1956, and is a member of Maritime Association Of Ship Owners, Ship Managers and Agents (MASSA) and the Maritime Training and Research Foundation (MTRF) at Mumbai.

Presently Killick Marine Services is manning vessels of United Arab Shipping Co. Kuwait.
KMSPL has its own databank of trained and qualified officers and ratings and presently has an adequate number of them on its head count to undertake safe, efficient and economic manning operations for its principals. The company's professional approach and commitment to quality is reflected in the fact that it has obtained the Crew Manning Office certificate for quality through the auspices of Det Norske Veritas.
