About Us

1950: A man endowed with a pioneering spirit set up from his native town Lucknow. Mohammad Umar traveled throughout India learning the craft of the watch-maker, goldsmith and jeweller. He established at his home town Lucknow in 1965 and opened a shop , KING WATCH HOUSE there. While Mohammad Umar repaired watches, he embellished his craft by manufacturing magnificent and intricate wrist watches & clocks and creating original pieces commissioned by his wealthy clients. So a tradition was born and the foundations of a philosophy securely laid. They have been preserved and respected by Mohammad Umar s descendants through two generations.

Quality Policy / Processes

Since the company's beginnings, King Gems golden rule and motto has always been "Quality is priority". This guiding principle, entrenched in the minds of all of their employees, is enforced at every level of the jewellery production process where a 11 point quality control system assures the highest quality standards.

King Gems has perfected both the synthesis of theory and practice of creating jewelry through an elevated level of specialization in the jewelry making process. The Group's R&D department ensures proper implementation of the most advanced jewellery manufacturing techniques. Master designers and craftsmen combine their skills to create an unparallel level of diversity in the King jewellery lines.
