The Handyscope HS4 DIFF is the third member of the TiePie engineering USB Oscilloscopes family. It gives you all features of the Handyscope HS4. But, for customers who want to extend their measuring capabilities even further, this powerful computer controlled measuring instrument features four isolated differential input channels. This makes it the ideal instrument to perform measurements in high voltage circuits, amplifiers, switch mode power supplies, power inverters etc. No more risk of creating short circuits through your oscilloscope! To read more about differential measuring, please visit our classroom.
The Handyscope HS4 DIFF has just like its sibling the four main measuring instruments: a Multimeter, an Oscilloscope, a Spectrum analyzer and a Transient recorder. The Handyscope HS4 DIFF features a user selectable 12 bit, 14 bit or 16 bit resolution (14 bit effective, SNR 95 dB), 200 mV - 80 V full scale input range, 128 Ksamples record length per channel and a sampling frequency up to 50 MHz on all four channels simultaneously. Connected to the fast USB 2.0 interface (High Speed, 480 Mbit/sec), the Handyscope HS4 DIFF doesn't require an external power supply, once again fully supporting the "Plug in and measure" motto of TiePie engineering.
The universal software that is delivered with the Handyscope HS4 DIFF turns your PC into a storage oscilloscope, a spectrum analyzer, a voltmeter and a transient recorder. An intelligent auto setup allows the inexperienced user to perform measurements immediately. The software allows you to save instrument settings on disk. Later these setting files can be recalled, reducing the setup time of your instrument to an absolute minimum.
Besides measuring in block mode, the Handyscope HS4 DIFF is also capable of performing continuous streaming measurements. This will create a continuous uninterrupted data stream to the computer. The data can then be displayed on the screen and/or saved to disk.

The Handyscope HS4 is the successor of the popular Handyscope HS3. Built for customers who want to extend their measuring capabilities even further, this powerful computer controlled measuring instrument features four input channels. The Handyscope HS4 has just like its predecessor the four main measuring instruments: a Multimeter, an Oscilloscope, a Spectrum analyzer and a Transient recorder. The Handyscope HS4 features a user selectable 12 bit, 14 bit or 16 bit resolution (14 bit effective, SNR 95 dB), 200 mV-80 V full scale input range, 128 Ksamples record length per channel and a sampling frequency up to 50 MHz on all four channels simultaneously.
The AWG is not included in the Handyscope HS4. Therefore, the HS4 is the ideal pc based measuring instrument for customers that want a high number of inputs and yet do not need a signal generator. Connected to the fast USB 2.0 interface (High Speed, 480 Mbit/s), the Handyscope HS4 doesn't require an external power supply, once again fully supporting the "Plug in and measure" motto of TiePie engineering.
The universal software that is delivered with the Handyscope HS4 turns your PC into a storage oscilloscope, a spectrum analyzer, a voltmeter and a transient recorder. An intelligent auto setup allows the inexperienced user to perform measurements immediately. The software allows you to save instrument settings on disk. Besides measuring in block mode, the Handyscope HS4 is also capable of performing continuous streaming measurements. This will create a continuous uninterrupted data stream to the computer. The data can then be displayed on the screen and/or saved to disk.

Model Name/Number | handyprobe HP3 |
Brand | Tiepie |

The TiePie engineering Handyprobe HP3 is the world's first PC based 100 MS/s differential USB oscilloscope.
Differential input: The Handyprobe HP3 is equipped with a differential input with a maximum input range of 800 Volt DC (566 Volt RMS). Because of the differential input, it is not possible to create a short circuit to ground through the oscilloscope. The high input range makes it possible to use the Handyprobe HP3 without additional attenuators. See the classroom section for information about differential measuring.
Streaming: The advanced driver technology makes it possible to measure a continuous stream of data from the Handyprobe HP3 to the computer, at a maximum rate of 10 MSamples/s. The maximum measuring time is only limited by the available space on the hard drive. The high sampling rate makes it possible to capture short events with high accuracy. It is also possible to monitor e.g. the line power for a very long time and afterwards view and analyze each cycle of the signal thoroughly.
Low noise measuring lead: The input of the Handyprobe HP3 is differential, which means that both sides of the input have a high impedance. There is no connection to ground as in conventional oscilloscopes which are used with coax cables and standard probes.
The special low noise Measure lead TP-C812A is developed for the Handyprobe HP3. It is very insensitive to external interfering signals. The two ends can be placed up to two meters apart, while picking up very little interference. With a conventional oscilloscope with standard probes this is not possible. The maximum distance between the positive side and ground of a standard probe is usually limited to approximately 20 cm. The Measure lead TP-C812A for the Handyprobe HP3 does not have this limitation. Measuring between two distant points is now no problem anymore. The Measure lead TP-C812A uses heat resistant silicone isolation and shrouded banana plugs.
Ergonomic design: The Handyprobe HP3 is designed to fit nicely in your hand. Its housing is fitted with soft rubber areas that ensure a good grip on it. A wrist strap can be attached, to carry the Handyprobe HP3 or to hang it near the test setup.
Specifications:
- Fast and compact measuring instrument with a wide input range from 200 mV full scale to 800 V full-scale without the need for additional probes or attenuators

The Handyscope HS3 is a powerful computer controlled measuring instrument that consists of four measuring instruments: a Multimeter, an Oscilloscope, a Spectrum analyzer and a Transient recorder. An AWG is also available. This powerful and compact measuring instrument can solve almost every measurement problem.
The Handyscope HS3 features a user selectable 12 bit, 14 bit or 16 bit resolution (14 bit effective, SNR 95 dB), 200 mV - 80 V full scale input range, 128 Ksamples record length per channel and a sampling frequency up to 100 MS/s on both channels simultaneously (100 MS/s only in 8 bit resolution).
The integrated AWG operates fully independent from the measuring system of the Handyscope HS3. It has a 50 MS/s sampling clock, a 256K samples deep waveform memory, a 14 bit output resolution and a ± 12 Volt output range. The AWG allows you to generate test signals for your measurements in any shape you like. Several standard signal shapes are available and it is possible to regenerate previous measured signals.
Connected to the fast USB 2.0 (High Speed, 480 Mbit/s), the Handyscope HS3 doesn't require an external power supply, therefore the Handyscope HS3 easily complies to "Plug in and measure".
The universal software that is delivered with the Handyscope HS3 turns your PC into a storage oscilloscope, a spectrum analyzer, a voltmeter and a transient recorder. An intelligent auto setup allows the inexperienced user to perform measurements immediately. The software allows you to save instrument settings on disk.
