Wide Frame Drum Shredder The best suited machine for shredding ‘Low Density Bio-mass & Agricultural Residue’ like stacks of cotton, chilli, red gram, dry cane trash, coconut shells, coconut and palm tree fronds and the like with an output of 6-12 tons per hour. Mechanized loading reduces the manual effort in loading while improving the productivity by 50% i.e. 10-15 tons per hour. The size of the chip is suitable for both traveling grate and FBC boilers. The machine is particularly designed to handle the agricultural residue whose bulk density is less than 100 Kgs/Cu meter. Mechanism is incorporated for compaction of the bio-mass in two stages, while it passes through the tapered ‘Press-Feed Conveyor’ and heavy press-feed rolls weighing 780Kgs. These press feed rolls control the movement of feed stock into the machine. The 1700 kgs of rotor is made out of heavy steel sections and is 990 mm wide and 920 mm dia with 6 fly knives. The support block behind the fly knife is made of a section of 180 mm x 140 mm and stores energy at the point of utility. The whole rotor runs on large sized anti friction bearings mounted on cast steel bearing pedestals for safety. The machine is equipped with a 6 meters of in-feed conveyor and 5 meters of shrouded discharge conveyor with a heaping height of 2.5 meters. The infeed conveyor is ergonomically designed for a low height and ease of manual loading of material. A two piece Bed knife support plate will act as a mechanical fuse in case of overload or ingress of foreign material. The machine is built with a screen with specified aperture underneath the rotor for regulated chip size. The machine is incorporated with a double ended twin blower system to blow off the jamming. |

Disk Shredder Suitable for shredding odd sized agro residue like palm bunches, coconuts, bark and edge slices from timber with a capacity of 3-4 tons per hour. The machine is equipped with a specially designed feeder with slat chain conveyor. The dancing feed roll equipped with the feeder unit will drag odd sized material into the chipping zone. The feed stock is further held at the point of cutting by another pair of rolls for efficient processing. The feeder is further attached with a 6 meters length of in-feed conveyor for ease of loading the feed stock. The discharge chute of 2.5 meters heaps the material upto a height of 2 meters. The whole machine is mounted on a skid on which the feeder gear box and motor, main drive motor and the feeder are mounted. This feature facilitates the operation of the machine without any foundation and makes the semi-permanent installations easy and simple. The main rotor is driven by a 30 HP motor and the feeder, along with in-feed conveyor, is driven by a 5 hp motor. By increasing the capacity of the main drive motor, the output can be increased. |

- Choice of prime mover among diesel engine, elect motor, tractor PTO shaft output.
- Low feeding height facilitates easy feeding of material. Supplied along with detachable. In-feed conveyor of 3000 mm. Material is discharged to 15-20 feet distance away from the discharge throat.
- Suitable for chipping of coconut/palm tree fronds, whole coconuts, apart from the capabilities of mobile-1 machine.
- Chips of 50 mm sq can be obtained from coconut fronds.
