Block Making Machine

Most popular machine for moderate investment and moderate production. An Egg layer type of block making machine with casting area of 800 x 600 mm, capable of casting Solid blocks, Hollow blocks, corner column blocks, roofing blocks in closed cavity design. Typical blocks types and sizes are

The lifting of ram and mould are operated by hydraulic cylinders. The Ram can be tamped on the material in the mould, while under vibration, making the block more compact and dense. The machine is equipped with a mechanised carriage movement which facilitates the shifting of the machine for the next casting. The machine is simple to operate and does not require great skills. The machine requires 5.5 HP for operation.

The machine is similar to the Hydraulic model, without hydraulic system for lifting the ram and mould, but has the same casting area of 800 x 600 mm. The machine is capable of casting Solid blocks, Hollow blocks, corner column blocks, roofing blocks in closed cavity design. The machine is equipped with a 2HP vibrator to provide intense vibration for proper compaction. The machine carriage has to be shifted manually to the next casting location.

A Simple & low cost machine to produce blocks ‘in situ’ for small production requirements. Can cast one blocks of 6” x 8” 12” size on a Carry plate with a mould. The moulds are transferred to curing area and transferred to a levelled area. Typical production output range from 500 to 700 nos per day.

Needs no platform and is a stand-alone machine. Can be operated by 1.5 HP single phase motor or a 3.5 HP diesel engine. Both the prime movers can be accommodated simultaneously and the drive can be shifted with ease.

Recommended for block making in rural & remote locations.

Typical production output range from 700 to 1000 nos per day. Simple changing of the ram & mould can change the block size. Needs no platform and is a stand-alone machine. This is an egg layer type of machine with very high aspect ratio of 1:12 of the casting area. i.e. an element of 1 feet width and 12 feet long can be casted on this machine. Hence this machine is suitable for casting RCC beams with or with out reinforcement. Products of similar nature can be casted on this machine with a cycle time of 4-5 minutes making the machine most productive and labour efficient.

This “SWING-OVER BED CASTING MACHINE” machine is used to produce elements for low cost housing which are not possible to be manufactured on normal egg layer or compression moulding machine. The advantage of the machine is that the mould after filling with aggregates can be over turned to cast the product on a stackable plank. Hence with one single mould many types of building elements can be casted with a cycle time of 3 to 4 minutes. Roofing planks, Door & window frames & planks and similar elements can be produced. This machine does not require any platform and needs 1/10 th of the space as the elements are casted on planks which can be stacked up to 10-high.
