DISK CHIPPERS - 25-50 HP

• Suitable for small boilers with 1-1.5 tons/hour of output. Recommended where use of coal/rice husk are to be replaced in small installations. Recommended for gassier application.

DISK CHIPPER – 50-75 HP

• Suitable for power plants and medium capacity boilers with 25-50 tons/day of fuel requirement. Medium capacity machine with a productivity of 4-6 tons/hr.
• Suitable for hard woods like Julia flora, mango etc with sizes upto 5” dia. Chips of 20- 25 mm length.

DISK CHIPPER – 75-150 HP

• Suitable for hard woods like Julia flora, mango etc with sizes upto 9” dia.
• Large capacity machine with output of 6-10 tons per hour. Chips of 20-25 mm length.

This high production disk wood chipper combines the chipping efficiency of disk chipper with the convenience of feeding the raw material. To gain the full advantage of the chipper, the machine facilitates the feeding by conveyor. The machine incorporates a ‘slat conveyor’ to draw the feed stock to the cutting edge at a slant angle. The feed stock is fed through a 6 meters in-feed conveyor equipped with two dancing type feed rolls for effective feeding. Disk chipper is designed to give an output of 15-20 tons per hour with 150-200 HP motor. The machine utilizes its capacity to the best as the feed stock is fed without interruption. The conveyor is designed ergonomically at a very low height of 600 mm to reduce the effort of loading the feed stock. The machine is suitable for pulp & paper industry and locations where high capacity output with low labor involvement is envisaged.

Any Wood Chipper or Biomass shredder is fitted with hard knifes which gets blunt and should be re-sharpened at regular intervals. Knife grinder does the job effectively in less time with less effort and can be operated with semi-skilled labor. The process is 5-6 times faster than manually operated grinding. The automatic loading system, for grinding depth, descends the grinding head with pre-set depth avoiding manual feeding preventing damage to grinding wheels. The grinding angle is adjustable upto 90˚. The grinding head is equipped with a 5 HP capacity motor for effective grinding and the grinding media is easily replaceable. The machine has coolant circulation pump and auto return traverse motor. The machine does not require any foundation. The maximum size of knife that can be ground is 1500 mm in length x 200 mm width x 30 mm in length. Machine is supplied along with motors, starters and control panel.
