Rubber Curve bar expander roll is used for removing wrinkles from Textile Processing machines like Calendars, Dyeing, Bleaching machines, Drying Ranges, Stenters, Bow weft straightener. Curve bar expander used on textile machines having more bow than other Industries like Paper, plastic. For abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, high temperature resistance, Nitril, Hypolan, rubber sleeves are used. Special sealing are provided for wet working condition and avoid resting of ball bearings inside the roll.

The performance of rubber expander (Bow Rollers) depends upon:

Lead in-lead out distance
Wrap angle
Position of blow (adjustable) 3:1 lead in lead out ratio is considered to be best. However, lead out distance preferably should not to be more than 3 times of expander roller diameter. The best results are achieved when bow roller is perpendicular to the web direction.
