Established in the year 2000, we Kirti Stampings are one of the counted amongst the leading manufacturers, exporters and suppliers of a wide range of transformer lamination, CRGO & CRNGO electrical lamination for transformers and toroidal transformer core. In addition, we also provide cut to size lamination as per clients’ requirement. These are catering to the requirements of diverse industries such as automobiles, constructions, defense and engineering related industries.

Our range is manufactured using state-of-the-art machines such as fleet sharing machine, power presses, EOT cranes and core loss testing machine. With the help of these machines, we are able to supply cut to size laminations in M4, (0.27 mm thickness) M5, (0.30 mm) M6, (0.35 mm.) and 6 0 M.T. CRGO transformer lamination per month as per clients requirement. Today, our constancy in delivering quality laminations has given us many quality conscious clients in domestic as well as international markets. Further our competence to deliver the range in all specifications & sizes has also helped us to strengthen our position amongst the other competitors in the industry.

These are available in various range, thicknesses, cuts and sizes as per the clients’ specific requirements.

Transformer Lamination

Transformers are manufactured from various grades of CRGO steel. As transformer lamination is done in accordance with clients’ specifications, the whole process is carried out in one section only so that flexibility and control can be achieved. Lamination in various shades and sizes is slit and cut in requisite exact geometrical shapes with 90 degree and 45 degree cutting systems by making use of various machines throughout the process.

First, the slitting machine is used to slit the CRGO; in this method minimizing the burrs is very important phase. Then shearing angle is checked for a perfect match at the edges during initial setting for this purpose shearing machine is used.  After this, the materials are hole punched and 'V' notched using the power press. At this point, the material develops residual stresses because of the sensitivity. In order to remove stresses, the CRNGO laminations are taken to the Roller Hearth Annealing Furnace, which prevents any probable distortion, shortens the cycle time and ensures that insulation is sustained even at high temperatures.

In the end, it is meticulously checked for technical details and dimensions by experts and forwarded to packing department. Further, in our packaging unit, the finished products are properly packed in wooden pallets according to its size and a full description of the material including technical details is attached with the pallet and then dispatched to the respective client.

We are well equipped with modern infrastructure a facility, which assists us in producing quality CRGO & CRNGO electrical lamination for transformers. The manufacturing expertise of our workforce allows us to offer our range in different grades and thicknesses. Our better management of the production processes, reduction in wastage and improving overall efficiency of operations has enabled us to achieve production capacity of 1500 M.T. per annum.

Quality Assurance Plan

We conduct various measures to ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing materials till up to finished lamination and their packaging. Our experts also make sure that all the measuring instruments used for quality checks are approved by the Govt. recognized Agency to ensure precision and accuracy.

Lamination testing:


During lamination processing, our experts conducts stringent checking in manufacturing process at regular half-hour intervals on every machine and the record is maintained separately. The lamination are checked for edge burrs width, camber, thickness, stack thickness and wave factor, which are in accordance with the specific least measurement done by various measuring devices.
