Silicon Coated Wire Wound Resistors

We offer a wide variety of silicon coated wire wound resistors that are named as, radial tag, axial lead, radial wire etc. all having different power capacities, tolerance levels and special features that make them different from each other.

Axial Lead Resistors

Features:

Complete welded construction.
High temperature silicone coating with flame proof property.
Low temperature coefficient of resistance.
Available in non-inductive style with aryton-perry winding for lowest reactive components.
Exceptional stability and performance.
100% traceability for 3 years.
100% screened material also available.
Available as per JSS50402 & IS8909 Part II 1978.
Approved by LCSO - CACT.

Materials:

Core: High alumina ceramics.
Elements: Cu-Ni or Ni-Cr alloy.
End cap:Steel.
Coating:Vertical Mounting Special high temperature, flame proof grade silicone.
Terminal: Tin copper wire.

Deratings:

For efficient and long life operation these resistors shall be derated by more than 50.
Operating temperature range -55°C to +350°C.
Derating necessary for high ambient temp according to graph 1.

Mechanical:

Terminal strength: pull test 10N.

Solderability:

Meets the requirements of JSS 50402/IS 8909(ii) 1978.

Current Sensing Resistors

These radial lugs incorporate thermal fuse & current-sensing resistors. Our manufactured radial lugs with vertical mounting are apt to be used as slow blow resistible fuse.
