Our Milestones
2008 - KLT set-up chassis manufacturing plant with a capacity of 30,000 pieces per year in Thailand to manufacture chassis assemblies for TATA's pick-up vehicle.
2006 - KLT established Hydroforming Plant with a capacity of one million pieces per year.
2006- KLT established automated Precision Tube Plant with annual capacity of 45,000 tonnes of cold-drawn tube & hydroform tube.
2006 - KLT selected for development of chassis assemblies for TATA X2 Platform vehicles and Sprint / Phoenix range of vehicles.
2005 - KLT started supply of chassis assemblies for Telco Line & 207DI pick-up vehicles of TATA Motors Ltd.
2005- KLT started supply of chassis assemblies for Heavy Commercial Vehicles manufactured by M/s Asia Motors Works Ltd. (Essar Group).
2004 - Thakkar & sons Auto ancillary rechristened as "KLT Automotive Tubular products Ltd."
2003 - Selected as strategic source to supply chassis assemblies for Chevrolet Tavera manufactured by GM India Ltd.
2001 - Established precision tube division with annual capacity of 60,000 tonnes.
2000- Selected as strategic source to supply chassis assemblies for M&M Scorpio.
1994 - Established Thakkar & Sons Auto Ancillary India Ltd. (renamed later) for manufacture of chassis assemblies for M&M Armada and Commander range of Multi Utility Vehicles.

Design Simulation such as crash TEST of components & TEST of complete cars 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers. Analysis ofstiffness, modal frequency, temperature, durability, environment, load behaviour and NCAP test.
All our plants are equipped with modern lab facilities. KLT has its exclusive design center & dedicated team of well qualified engineers situated at the IT hub of India, Pune. This center caters to all KLT plants across India & Thailand.
