Introduction
| "Koley Converting Machinery Pvt. Ltd"- the name is now a phenomenon among the entrepreneurs in printing and packaging industry in India and abroad specially Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. In achieving this, it had to negotiate through rough road and the person, who was in the front seat to steer it to reach its present heydays, was no one but it's Managing Director, Mr. Himadri Koley, by virtue of his invincible determination along with utmost tenacity, perseverance and diligence. |

OUR HISTORY History of formation of our company goes back to mid-eighties when Mr. Koley was an young unemployed college drop-out joined as an apprentice to a small firm at outer side of greater Kolkata manufacturing machinery's for printing & packaging industry. Within short period of joining, with his ingenuity, he managed to grasp the nitty-gritty of the technology involved in the process of manufacturing converting machinery's and in the year 1988 he took a venture to start his own manufacturing unit in a rented shed nearby his old firm with five staffs from it along with another chap, like his younger brother, from the neighborhood of his residence and that was the beginning of a new era in today's printing & packaging industry. That is when "Converting Machinery" was born as a sole proprietorship concern. |

OUR GROWTH Like any newborn it grew up by being nurtured with sincere care of everyone involved at that time, and in the year 1990 the factory unit was moved to its present site to pursue the challenging venture. In the same year the company participated for the first time in "PAMEX - INDIA", an exhibition of printing & packaging machinery's held at "Yubabharati Krirangan" (Salt Lake Stadium) Kolkata and by doing so the company made its presence felt in printing & packaging industry and thus extended its horizon for a brighter prospect in future. |

STATUTORY CORPORATE PERSONALITY Then on 25th.August 1995 the big day arrived when "Converting Machinery" evolved from the newborn through childhood and adolescence to its adult form "Koley Converting Machinery Private Limited" (KCMPL) having it's Registered office and factory at Howrah in West Bengal, India and stood out with it's unique identity among the manufacturers of converting machinery's for printing & packaging industry. Ever since it's conception, it managed to secure a place among the leading manufacturers in this field in India and our logo became the symbol of quality because our catchword is - "Compromise with anything but quality of our products and services". |

WE ARE & WE WILL BE Currently our range of products includes - Roto-Gravure Printing machine, Wet & Dry Lamination machine, Slitting cum Rewinding machine, Hot-Melt Coating machine, Wax Coating machine, Flexo-graphic Printing machine etc. Our total devoted workforces include skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled workers who are committed to exercise their maximum effort for the uplifting of company. In future we would like to see the quality of our products to be comparable to that of Italy, Germany and Taiwan - renowned for converting machinery's so that customers, from both domestic as well as other developing countries, would have to give a second thought before importing machinery's from those countries at a competitive price. To get there we are constantly putting our endeavor in developing of more sophisticated machinery's and we expect to accomplish this soon and we are confident that in near future we would be in commanding position in our area of activities. |

OUR SOCIAL INVOLVEMENT Along with value addition process of our corporate affairs, we are also very much concerned about social responsibilities of business. Our social involvement inter alia, include: - Active participation in various events like Community service, Sponsoring sports / Tournaments, Religious festivals, Association with local organizations etc. From the country's defense point of view, our timely contribution to "Army Welfare Fund during Kargil War" is an exemplary evidence of our feelings to the fellowmen of our country. |
