Our range of Ball Valves is procured from reliable vendors have high strength and durability. These valves open up by turning handles attached to a ball inside the valves. The ball has a hole or port, through the middle so that when the port is in line with both ends of the valve, the flow is uniform. When the valve is closed, the hole is perpendicular to the ends of the valve thus, blocking the flow. The handle or lever will be in line with the port position, to enhance the position of the valve.
The features include:
The ball valve along with butterfly and plug valve belong to quarter turn valves
Ball valves work to achieve perfect shutoff even after years of disuse. They are therefore an excellent choice for shutoff applications (and are often preferred to globe valves and gate valves for this purpose)
They do not offer the fine control that may be necessary in throttling applications

Inconel is a registered trademark of Special Metals Corporation that refers to a family of austenitic nickel-chromium-based superalloys.[1] Inconel alloys are typically used in high temperature applications. It is often referred to in English as "Inco" (or occasionally "Iconel"). Common trade names for Inconel include: Inconel 625, Chronin 625, Altemp 625, Haynes 625, Nickelvac 625 and Nicrofer 6020.
Inconel 718 is a Nickel-Chromium alloy being precipitation hardenable and having high creep-rupture strength at high temperatures to about 700°C (1290°F). It has higher strength than Inconel X-750 and better mechanical properties at lower temperatures than Nimonic 90 and Inconel X-750. Inconel 625 is a Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of corrosive media, being especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. It is a favourable choice for sea water applications.
Inconel 600 is a Nickel-Chromium alloy with good resistance to oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures. Alloy 800 is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy with moderate strength and good resistance to oxidation and carburization at elevated temperatures. It is particularly useful for high-temperature equipment in the petrochemical industry because the alloy doesn't form the embrittling sigma phase after long time exposure at 1200°F (649°C). Excellent resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking is another important feature of alloy 800. Alloy 800H is a solution heat treated (2100°F/1150°C), controlled-carbon version of alloy 800 with improved elevated temperature properties. It has improved creep and stress-rupture characteristics in the 1100°F (593°C) to 1800°F (982°C) temperature range.
Incoloy 825 is highly resistant to corrosion. It has a high nickel content, sufficient to resist chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, and a very stable austenite structure. The levels of molybdenum and copper enable the alloy to resist reducing agents and acids. Chromium gives resistance to oxidising conditions, such as nitric acid solutions, nitrates and oxidising salts. The alloy is titanium stabilised to resist pitting and intergranular attack after fabrication, particularly welding, which includes heating in the critical sensitisation temperature range (650°C – 760°C).
Alloy 825 offers exceptional resistance to corrosion by sulphuric and phosphoric acids and is often the most cost effective alloy in sulphuric acid service.
Austral Wright Metals can supply this alloy as plate, sheet, strip, bar, rod, wire, tube, pipe, fittings, fasteners. Incoloy 825 is approved for pressure vessel operating temperatures up to 525°C (AS1210, AS4041), 538°C (ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Sections I, III, VIII, IX, Cases 1936, N-188). Brittle phases may form in alloy 825 at temperatures above ~ 540°C, so it is not normally used at these temperatures, where creep-rupture properties would be design factors.
We are the Importer & Stockist Of Nichrome Wire We have Huge Range of Stock of Nichrome Wire We have 50swg to 12mm Ready in Stock & some information of Nichrome Wire
DESCRIPTION Nichrome is basically a name given to nickel-chromium resistance wires. It is a non-magnetic alloy which consists of 80 percent nickel and 20 percent chromium by weight, and is widely used in heating elements because of its relatively high resistivity. Out of the constituents of nichrome, nickel is an element with the chemical symbol Ni and atomic number 28, whereas, chromium is an element with the symbol Cr and atomic number 24. Nickel is generally a silvery-white lustrous metal and chromium a steely-gray and hard metal. Nichrome, the alloy, is silvery-gray in color, resistant towards corrosion and has a high melting point.
Nichrome is used in the explosives and fireworks industry, ceramic making and as a heating element. The alloy is very useful in the process of ceramic making, as it can withstand the high temperatures that occur when a clay work is fired in a kiln. Nichrome is also used in motorcycle silencers and in certain microbiological lab apparatus. The chromium present in nichrome wire oxidizes on being heated and forms a protective layer of chromium oxide. The alloy is expensive because of its high nickel content.
Nichrome is also used in the production of special nichrome thin films, which are ideally suited for use in hybrid assemblies. The application of these thin films also extends to integrated circuits in fields like telecommunication, power supplies, instrumentation, military and medical equipment, where low noise and good power dissipation are required. Due to its relatively high resistivity and resistance to oxidation at high temperatures, nichrome is used in heating elements built inside hair dryers, electric ovens and toasters. For such purpose, nichrome is generally wound in wire coils to a certain electrical resistance and current is passed through it, in order to produce heat.
Nichrome is a very useful alloy because of its properties and has found application in many instruments which require high resistivity of the constituent material.
